Abstract: A dry dual-scroll vacuum pump includes a driving assembly and an upper cover located above the driving assembly, wherein the driving assembly includes an output shaft, and a movable disk is eccentrically arranged on the output shaft; two groups of first scroll teeth that are centrally symmetrical are arranged on a side of the movable disk that faces the upper cover; a fixed disk is arranged at a lower end of the upper cover, second scroll teeth that are in one-to-one correspondence with the first scroll teeth are arranged on the fixed disk, and the first scroll teeth are meshed with the second scroll teeth to form a compression cavity; and the upper cover is further provided with an air inlet and an air outlet, which correspond to the compression cavity.

Abstract: A compressor may include a shell assembly, a non-orbiting scroll, and an orbiting scroll. The shell assembly may define a discharge chamber. The non-orbiting scroll includes a first end plate and a first spiral wrap extending from the first end plate. The first end plate may include a variable-volume-ratio port. The orbiting scroll may be disposed within the discharge chamber. The orbiting scroll includes a second end plate and a second spiral wrap extending from the second end plate and cooperating with the first spiral wrap to define a plurality of fluid pockets therebetween. The second end plate may include a discharge passage in communication with a radially innermost one of the fluid pockets and the discharge chamber. The variable-volume-ratio port may be disposed radially outward relative to the discharge passage and may be in selective communication with the radially innermost one of the fluid pockets.

Abstract: A compressor may include a shell, first and second scroll members, a partition plate and a bypass valve member. The shell defines a discharge-pressure region and a suction-pressure region. The first scroll member is disposed within the shell and may include a first end plate having a discharge passage, and first and second bypass passages extending through the first end plate. The partition plate is disposed within the shell and separates the discharge-pressure region from the suction-pressure region and includes an opening in communication with the discharge-pressure region. The bypass valve member is movable between a first position restricting fluid flow through at least one of the first and second bypass passages and the opening and a second position in allowing fluid flow through the at least one of the first and second bypass passages and the opening.

Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll; an orbiting scroll that interfaces the fixed scroll; an Oldham ring that interfaces the orbiting scroll and has a pre-unbalanced force profile; and a motor shaft that interfaces the Oldham ring. The Oldham ring pre-unbalanced force profile is in the form of a sine wave. One of the shaft and the orbiting scroll has an imbalance weight portion; wherein the imbalance weight portion provides a weighted force profile that is 180° opposite of the pre-unbalanced force profile of the Oldham ring and produces in the Oldham ring a post-unbalanced force profile that is substantially a flat line.

Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll compressor body and a moveable scroll compressor body that are arranged for relative orbital movement relative to one another to facilitate compression of refrigerant. The scroll compressor includes a key coupling acting upon the moveable scroll compressor body. The key coupling includes a ring body with a plurality of keys, with key contact surfaces, each of the keys projecting axially from the ring body. The key coupling includes four keys in separate quadrants defined by perpendicular lateral axes. The key coupling guides orbital movement of the moveable scroll compressor body along a linear translational path along a lateral axis.

Abstract: A scroll compressor with unfastened thrust plate includes a compressor housing and scroll compressor bodies disposed in the compressor housing. The scroll bodies include a fixed scroll body and a moveable scroll body. The fixed and moveable scroll bodies have respective bases and respective scroll ribs that project from the respective bases. The scroll ribs mutually engage. The moveable scroll body is movable relative to the fixed scroll body for compressing fluid. An upper bearing member provides axial thrust support to the moveable scroll compressor body through a bearing support via an unfastened thrust plate that is located between the upper bearing member and the moveable scroll body. The unfastened thrust plate has no means of attachment to the upper bearing member or to the moveable scroll body.
