Methods for fabricating triazene-based graphitic carbon nitride films are provided. A substrate can be coated with silk fibroin, submerged in the central zone of plasma, and provided with microwave power. The substrate can then be dried to give a triazene-based graphitic carbon nitride film. Methods of the subject invention can be easily scaled up to industrial levels and produce triazene-based graphitic carbon nitride films that show excellent electrical properties as anodes in lithium-ion batteries.

The invention discloses a composite material used for catalyzing and degrading nitrogen oxide and its preparation method and application thereof. The invention of the hollow g-C3N4 nanospheres/reduced graphene oxide composite-polymer carbonized nanofiber material is prepared as follow: 1) the preparation of silica nanospheres; 2) the preparation of hollow g-C3N4 nanospheres; 3) the preparation of graphene oxide; 4) the preparation of surface modified hollow g-C3N4 nanoparticles preparation; 5) the preparation of composites; 6) the preparation of composite-polymer carbon nanofiber material. The raw materials used in the process is low cost and easy to get; the operation of the invention is simple and convenient without the use of expensive equipment in the whole process; the composite has high adsorption efficiency of ppb level nitrogen oxide with good repeatability.

The carbon nitrides are synthesized using hydrogen-free reactants, namely inorganic isocyanates that release only CO2 when thermally treated. The carbon fiber contains at least one of trivalent and pentavalent elements. In particular, the trivalent and pentavalent elements are boron and/or nitrogen. The content of at least one of boron and nitrogen in the carbon fiber is 0.1% to 5% at an atomic weight ratio of the contained element to carbon. The diameter of the carbon fiber is 20 nm to 200 nm. Such an electron gun can have a high-brightness electron beam with a narrow energy width. The field emission electron gun is applied to various electron beam apparatus.

A method of forming a covalent carbon material includes forming an atomic nitrogen source, forming an elemental reagent source and combining the atomic nitrogen, elemental reagent to form the covalent carbon material and annealing the covalent carbon material. The elemental reagent is reactive with the atomic nitrogen of the atomic nitrogen source to form the covalent carbon material. Annealing the covalent carbon material produces the C.sub.2 N. In one embodiment, essentially all carbon nitride chemical bonds are single or double bonds.
