摘要: Known catalyst systems for the catalytic combustion of ammonia to form nitrogen oxides consist of a plurality of catalyst gauze layers which are knitted, woven or braided from platinum-based precious metal wire, which form a catalyst package when arranged after one another when viewed in a fresh gas flow direction. In order to provide a catalyst system on this basis for use in a medium-pressure system, with which a yield of the main product NO comparable to the industry standard can be achieved despite the reduced precious metal use, according to the invention, the catalyst package is formed from a front assembly with three catalyst gauzes with a first average mass per unit area and a downstream assembly of catalyst gauze layers arranged after the front assembly and having a second average mass per unit area, wherein the average mass per unit area of the front assembly has a short weight in the region of 1.5% to 29% in relation to the second average mass per unit area, and the first average mass per unit area lies in the regions of 410 to 30 g/m2 and the second average mass per unit area lies in the region of 540 to 790 g/m2.

摘要: A method of forming a batch of porous catalytic carrier filaments may include providing a precursor mixture, forcing the precursor mixture at a fixed rate through an orifice and then through a multiplicity of perforations in a belt, where the belt moves across and in tight registry with said orifice to form a batch of precursor catalytic carrier filaments, drying the batch of precursor porous catalytic carrier filaments to form the batch of porous catalytic carrier filaments, and firing (i.e. calcining) the batch of greenware porous catalytic carrier filaments to form the batch of porous catalytic carrier filaments. The batch of porous catalytic carrier filaments may have an average pore volume of at least about 0.1 cm3/g.

摘要: A material and a method of making hydrothermally stable (catalytic) materials on the basis of theta-alumina support that is thermally and hydrothermally stable up to 1,150 C with metal, mixed metal-, metal-oxide nanoparticles dispersed upon it. Such materials did not lose significant amounts of their catalytic activity at temperature ranges for industrially relevant applications (including hydrocarbon oxidation, nitric oxide reduction, carbon monoxide oxidation) even after hydrothermal aging up to 1,150° C.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for adjusting grouting parameters in preparation of a ceramic composite fiber-based catalytic filter tube, and a method and a device for preparing a ceramic composite fiber-based catalytic filter tube. In the present disclosure, a loading reference value of a slurry is determined by a fiber length, a pH value, and a solid phase content of the slurry, thus evaluating a performance value of the slurry; initial working parameters for preparation are determined by comparing the loading reference value of the slurry with a preset value. During the actual preparation, a grouting amount is introduced to conduct conversion check on a quality of the slurry, so as to ensure a grouting pressure and a grouting pressure holding time during the grouting.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an active zinc-based catalyst and a preparation method thereof, and use in catalyzing a rearrangement reaction of ibuprofen. The active zinc-based catalyst includes a carbon-based fiber material and nano-zinc oxide supported on a fiber surface of the carbon-based fiber material. The active zinc-based catalyst is introduced with the carbon-based fiber material, and the carbon-based fiber material is capable of increasing a specific surface area of the catalyst, thereby improving a dispersion degree of zinc oxide, increasing the number of catalytic active sites, and significantly improving a catalytic activity. Meanwhile, due to a certain mechanical strength, the carbon-based fiber material is capable of improving a mechanical strength of the catalyst, making the catalyst exist stably in ketal fluid, maintaining a stable morphology of the catalyst, and avoiding or inhibiting reduction of the catalytic active sites, thereby ensuring a catalytic stability.

摘要: A metal-supported nonwoven fabric is provided which enables effective synthesis of a target product when used as a catalyst in a flow reaction. The metal-supported nonwoven fabric comprises a nonwoven fabric containing polyolefin fibers or PET fibers, and metal particles. The nonwoven fabric has grafted side chains bound thereto formed of polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyacrylic acid, or a polymer containing functional groups with unshared electron pairs. The metal particles are supported by the grafted side chains via pyrrolidone groups of the polyvinylpyrrolidone, carboxy groups of the polyacrylic acid, or the functional groups with unshared electron pairs.
