Abstract:
A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate, a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix on the substrate where each pixel includes a switching element, a plurality of gate lines that are connected to the switching elements and extend in a row direction, and a gate driver that is connected to the gate lines and is formed on the substrate as an integrated circuit. In the liquid crystal display, the gate driver includes a first region and a second region that is not aligned with the first region.

Abstract:
An organic light emitting diode display includes a substrate including a display region displaying an image and a peripheral region surrounding the display region, a plurality of pad wires formed in the peripheral region of the substrate, and a plurality of bumps formed between the plurality of pad wires. The organic light emitting diode display blocks or relieves impact which is generated when a temporary upper protective film is half-cut and applied to a plurality of pad wires or an insulating layer by forming a plurality of bumps between the plurality of pad wires, thus preventing a damage to the pad wires or the insulating layer.
Abstract:
A display substrate and a method of manufacturing a display substrate are disclosed. The display substrate includes an active pattern, a first gate electrode and a second gate electrode. The active pattern is disposed on a base substrate. The first gate electrode overlaps the active pattern. The first gate electrode is spaced apart from the active pattern by a first distance. The second gate electrode overlaps the active pattern. The second gate electrode is spaced apart from the active pattern by a second distance which is larger than the first distance.

Abstract:
LCD device includes two substrates, a first and second color filters, two liquid crystal layers. The first color filters are formed on portions of the second substrate corresponding to border area The second color filters are formed on portions of the second substrate corresponding to the display area except the border area. A first liquid crystal layer between the first and the second substrate is comprised in border area, and a zero electric field is formed on the first liquid crystal layer so as to completely transmit light incident into the first liquid crystal layer therethrough. A borderline having various colors can be displayed by forming various patterns of color filters having various colors on portions of the second substrate corresponding to the border area under normally white mode, thereby producing picture frame effect while images are displayed on the screen.
Abstract:
An organic light-emitting display device is provided. The organic light-emitting display device includes a substrate; a display unit on the substrate; and a sealing substrate on the display unit. The sealing substrate includes a first surface facing the display unit and a second surface opposite to the first surface. A first barrier layer is on the first surface or the second surface of the sealing substrate. Thus, the organic light-emitting display device may easily reduce or prevent penetration of external air and moisture.
