A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining a configuration indicating a value for a variable tracking reference signal (TRS) density, monitoring for TRSs from a base station (BS) according to the indicated value for the variable TRS density, and performing at least one of frequency tracking or timing tracking based on the monitoring.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission associated with a multi-PDSCH semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) that potentially conflicts with a second transmission in a slot. The UE may determine to keep at least one of the PDSCH transmission associated with the multi-PDSCH SPS or the second transmission in the slot based at least in part on one or more rules. The UE may perform, with a base station in the slot, at least one of the PDSCH transmission associated with the multi-PDSCH SPS or the second transmission that is kept based at least in part on the one or more rules. Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a transmitter or a receiver to determine a size of a TB that spans more than one slot. In one aspect, a transmitter determines a multiple slot overhead parameter size for a TB of a shared channel based on an allocation of multiple slots. The transmitter calculates a number of REs allocated for the TB of the shared channel based on a number of subcarriers in a PRB, a number of scheduled symbols in a slot, a number of REs for DMRS per PRB, the multiple slot overhead parameter size, and a number of allocated PRBs. The transmitter transmits the TB of the shared channel using the calculated number of REs.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for coexistence of multiple uplink control channel formats for wireless communication with power spectral density limitation are disclosed herein. A user equipment (UE) may communicate, with a base station (BS) over a random access channel on a first set of random access resources or a second set of random access resources, a random access request based on a comparison between an intended transmit power of the random access request and a reference transmit power threshold. The UE may communicate, on a first set of uplink resources, a control message for initial network access when the random access request is communicated on the first set of random access resources. The UE also may communicate, on a second set of uplink resources, the control message when the random access request is communicated on the second set of random access resources.

Abstract: A wireless communication system utilizes a synchronization signal block (SSB) structure to enable beam switching at higher sub carrier spacing (SCS) or uplink transmissions within an SSB. The SSB structure has a first SCS for an SSB transmission and a second SCS for a data transmission. The SSB structure is based on the first SCS and the second SCS, with the SSB structure including at least one gap between SSB symbols or between SSBs. The wireless communication system transmits or receives an SSB based on the SSB structure. A base station may transmit a downlink signal during the gap, for example, where the second SCS is much greater than the first SCS. A user equipment may transmit an uplink signal such as an acknowledgment during the at least one gap. The user equipment or the base station may perform analog beam switching during the at least one gap between SSBs.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to multiplexing uplink control channel signals from different users are provided. A first wireless communication device obtains an uplink control channel multiplex configuration indicating a first frequency spreading sequence and at least one of a second frequency spreading sequence or a first spatial direction. The first wireless communication device communicates, with a second wireless communication device, a first uplink control channel signal including a first reference signal and a first uplink control information signal in a frequency spectrum based on the uplink control channel multiplex configuration. The first reference signal is based on the first frequency spreading sequence and the first uplink control information signal is based on at least one of the second frequency spreading sequence or the first spatial direction.
