Abstract: An imaging apparatus captures an image of a person passing through a predetermined space, using a sub-terahertz wave. The imaging apparatus includes an emitter that emits the sub-terahertz wave to the person, and a detection device. The detection device includes: an optical system that images a reflected wave which is the sub-terahertz wave emitted from the emitter and reflected by the person; and a plurality of pixels that are disposed in a planar arrangement and each receive the reflected wave imaged by the optical system, and generates an image based on cumulative intensities, each being obtained by accumulating an intensity of the reflected wave received by each of the plurality of pixels for a predetermined time, and the planar arrangement of the plurality of pixels. The predetermined time is λ/1778 seconds or longer, when the wavelength of the sub-terahertz wave is taken as λ mm.

Abstract: A display control system disclosed herein includes a display device including a display surface for displaying an image, a plurality of first coding patterns representing positions on the display surface being provided to overlap on the display surface; an input unit including an input surface containing a plurality of second coding patterns different from the first coding patterns, the second coding patterns representing the positions on the display surface; and a reading device reading the first and second coding patterns. Each of the first coding patterns represents the position on the display surface where the corresponding first coding pattern is positioned, and each of the second coding patterns represents the position on the display surface associated with the corresponding second coding pattern.

Abstract: An imaging device includes: an area light source including an emission surface from which a sub-terahertz wave is emitted to a measurement target; and a detector including an image sensor that receives a reflected wave generated by the measurement target reflecting the sub-terahertz wave emitted from the emission surface. The area light source includes: at least one point light source that emits a sub-terahertz wave; and a reflector that reflects the sub-terahertz wave emitted from the at least one point light source, to generate a sub-terahertz wave to be emitted from the emission surface. The reflector has a reflection surface that is a bumpy surface which includes two or more frequency components in a spatial frequency range and whose roughness curve element mean length RSm is at least 0.3 mm.

Abstract: A screen disclosed herein is a screen having a reflectivity, which causes diffuse reflection of an image projected by a projector, and a transparency, which allows transmission of a background, and including an uneven sheet, a semi-transmissive reflecting layer, and a transparent layer. The uneven sheet includes a transparent material, and has one principal surface that is flat and the other principal surface that is an uneven surface provided with a plurality of recesses and protrusions. The first principal surface and the second principal surface are opposite to each other. The reflecting layer is formed on the uneven surface of the uneven sheet. The transparent layer covers the reflecting layer. The reflecting layer is a thin film having a thickness ranging from 2 nm to 1 μm.

Abstract: A display panel according to the present disclosure is a display panel with which an optical pen can be used. The display panel includes: a position information pattern layer which causes the optical pen to identify a position on the display panel; a color filter layer including a color filter partitioned by a lattice structure; and a non-visible light reflection layer having a shape which diffuses and reflects a part of a non-visible light emitted from the optical pen. The non-visible light reflection layer is disposed between the position information pattern layer and the color filter layer, and an amount of light which is reflected by the non-visible light reflection layer and then enters the optical pen is larger than an amount of light which enters the optical pen through the non-visible light reflection layer after being transmitted through the color filter layer and then reflected.
