    Abstract: This application provides a signal generation method and an apparatus. In the method, a first communication apparatus generates a first signal, and sends the first signal to a second communication apparatus, who receives the first signal, and then demodulates the first signal. A symbol included in the first signal is carried on K+2(M−1) subcarriers. Middle K subcarriers are valid subcarriers, start M−1 subcarriers and last M−1 subcarriers are redundant subcarriers, and a subcarrier spacing between adjacent subcarriers is related to a feature of a time domain pulse used to shape the subcarrier, wherein a width of each of some or all side lobes of a spectrum of the time domain pulse is equal to 1/M of a main lobe width of the time domain pulse, the subcarrier spacing is 1/M of the main lobe width. K is a positive integer, and M is a positive integer greater than 1.

In the method, a first communication apparatus determines a first index indicating a first precoding vector, and sends the first index to a second communication apparatus. The second communication apparatus receives the first index from the first communication apparatus, determines the first precoding vector based on the first index, and precodes data based on the first precoding vector. The first precoding vector includes spatial angle information and spatial depth information of a channel between the first communication apparatus and the second communication apparatus.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a pilot signal sending and receiving method and apparatus, wherein the pilot signal sending method includes: establishing a first correspondence between a carrier identifier and a pilot pattern of a first type of pilot signal; establishing a second correspondence between a carrier identifier and a resource block set; acquiring a target carrier identifier of a target carrier; determining a location of a target resource block set corresponding to the target carrier identifier; determining a target pilot pattern that is of a first type of pilot signal and that corresponds to the target carrier identifier; mapping, according to the target pilot pattern, the first type of pilot signal to each resource block in the target resource block set on the target carrier. In this method, mapping is performed on a pilot signal only in a resource block set, which may reduce pilot redundancy and overheads.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a method for accessing a base station by a terminal, and an apparatus. In this provided solution, after a control base station (CBS) receives an access request message sent by the terminal, the CBS determines, according to received identification information of the terminal and a correspondence between the data base station (DBS) identification (ID) and the identification information of the terminal, a DBS ID that accesses the terminal; then a DBS corresponding to the DBS ID allocates access resource information to the terminal; finally, the terminal accesses the DBS. Therefore, the terminal can also access the DBS even if there is no cell ID in a cell covered by the DBS, thereby avoiding a problem that the terminal cannot access the base station when accessing the base station in a data and signaling separation network.

    Abstract: A full duplex radio unit comprising a transmission unit, an antenna, a reception unit, a circulator and a power reduction unit is provided. The transmission unit is adapted to generate a first signal. The circulator is adapted to provide the first signal from the transmission unit to the antenna. The antenna is adapted to transmit the first signal and simultaneously receive a second signal using an identical frequency or frequency band. The circulator is adapted to provide a third signal to the power reduction unit, wherein the third signal comprises the second signal and interference generated from the first signal by the antenna and the circulator. The power reduction unit is adapted to reduce the power of the third signal by multiplying the third signal by factor of √ρ, wherein ρ is between zero and one, thereby generating a fourth signal.
