Abstract: A method for determining a position for a stationary device with assistance provided by a mobile device is disclosed. The method comprises: receiving (104), by a microphone of the stationary device, an activation sound; in response to the received activation sound, sending (105) a request for position data addressed to the mobile device; receiving (106) position data from the mobile device; and storing (107) the position data as being the position of the stationary device. A method for assisting, by a mobile device, in determining a position for a stationary device is also disclosed. A stationary device and a system for determining a position for the stationary device are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for encoding lidar data where subsequent frames of lidar data to be encoded are received. Each frame of lidar data comprises a number of lidar return signals for each of a plurality of rays emitted at a respective elevation and azimuth angle by a lidar, and each lidar return signal includes lidar measurement values. Each frame of lidar data is then represented as an image frame of a video sequence, wherein, for each ray of the plurality of rays of the frame of lidar data, lidar measurement values of different lidar return signals are represented in different image portions of the image frame. The different image portions are stacked after each other in a row direction or a column direction of the image frame. The video sequence is then encoded using video encoding.

Abstract: A method for adjusting an audio zone sound image in an audio system (2, 6, 7) comprising a plurality of audio zones (2A, 2B, 6A, 6B, 6C, 6D, 7A, 7B, 7C) is disclosed. Each audio zone has one or more loudspeakers (20, 21, 60, 61, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74, 75) located therein. The method comprises recording (101, 802) a sound image of a controlling audio zone; transmitting (102, 803) audio data corresponding to the recorded sound image to a controller; evaluating (103, 103a, 804) the transmitted audio data; selecting (104, 805) an adjusting audio zone, wherein the adjusting audio zone is other than the controlling audio zone; and adjusting (105, 105a, 105b, 807) an adjusting loudspeaker such that the sound image of the controlling audio zone is changed. An audio system (2, 6, 7) and a controlling loudspeaker are also disclosed.
