摘要: Fast calculation of channel state information using demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) is provided herein. Channel state information is traditionally calculated based on the channel state reference signals (CS-RS). Demodulation reference signals, which are used for channel estimation for a data channel, are transmitted at different times than CS-RS however, and so some portions of the channel state information including layer indicator (LI) and channel quality indicator (CQI) can be calculated based on the demodulation reference signals, allowing a network to adapt more quickly to changing channel conditions, without having to transmit a CS-RS. Generally, precoding matrix indicator and rank indicator, which cannot be determined based on the DM-RS, don't change as often and are more stable over time, thus do not need to be calculated as frequently as the LI and CQI.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses methods and devices for wireless communication. Specifically, a method for resource allocation at a network device is provided. The method includes allocating a first frequency band to at least one first terminal device utilizing a first radio access technology (RAT), and allocating a second frequency band to at least one second terminal device utilizing a second RAT. The first frequency band is at least partly overlapped with the second frequency band, and the overlapped part of the first and second frequency bands is spatially multiplexed between the at least one first terminal device and the at least one second terminal device.

摘要: Methods and apparatus relating to use of actual and/or virtual beacons are described. Virtual beacons are virtual in that an actual beacon need not be transmitted but a rather a virtual beacon transmitter at a desired location maybe considered to transmit virtual beacons. In some embodiments a set of beacon transmitter information for one or more beacons is supplied to devices in a communications system. The beacon transmitter information indicates transmission power and location of actual and virtual beacon transmitters as well as information to be communicated by virtual beacons. Devices with access to beacon information can determine based on the location of a wireless terminal whether the wireless terminal is within coverage area of a virtual beacon and report reception of the virtual beacon to the wireless terminal or a component of the wireless terminal which acts upon receiving an indication of beacon reception.

The method includes determining, at a wireless access point of the first network, information for the UE about one or more mobile network operator (MNO) networks. The method also includes selecting the second network for redirection from among the one or more MNO networks based on the determined information. The method further includes sending the UE a redirection message that redirects the UE from the first network to the second network.

摘要: A computing system can receive a request for a service from a computing device of a given user of the network service, and select an entrance from multiple entrances for a geographic area associated with the request for the service. The system may then determine a sequence of instructions for a driver of a vehicle to fulfill the request, where the sequence of instructions includes at least (i) an instruction to enter the geographic area at the selected entrance, and (ii) a vehicle stopping location. The system then transmits the sequence of instructions to a computing device of the driver.

摘要: A communication system is disclosed in which an anchor base station configures a RAN based paging area for a communication device. When the anchor base station determines that it is necessary to update the RAN based paging area, it seeks to inform the communication device indicating that the RAN paging area for the communication device needs to be updated at the communication device, and subsequently, the base station may broadcast system information comprising information identifying a change to the paging area (e.g. a removal of a cell). The broadcasting of system information may also be carried out in other cells of the paging area.

摘要: A method and system for establishing an association between a document and a person or verifying identity comprising capturing images of the person's face and processing the images to generate a face feature vector data. The face feature vector data cannot be reverse processed to generate the image of the person's face. The method also captures images of the graphic on the item and processes those images to extract graphic derived feature vector data that is stored inside the graphic code. The graphic extracted face feature vector data cannot be reverse processed to generate the image of the person's face. Then, the face derived feature vector data is compared to the graphic derived feature vector data to develop a similarity value. Then the similarity value is compared to a first threshold value to develop a validation indicator representing the likelihood that the graphic/item are associated with the person.

摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are provided for virtualizing a reprogrammable universal integrated circuit chip (UICC) in a connected device's operating system. In one embodiment, an integrated cellular modem in the connected device is configured to use a simple protocol to communicate with the reprogrammable UICC. The protocol may be implemented in a way that allows cellular modem vendors to easily support such functionality and allow original equipment manufacturers to upgrade connected devices already deployed in the field.
