    Abstract: A technique for relaying a paging message from a network node (300; 1800; 1912; 2020) to a remote radio device (200; 1700; 1991; 1992; 2030) is described. As to a method (400) aspect of the technique performed by a relay radio device (100; 1600; 1991; 1992; 2030), the paging message is received (404) on a downlink, DL (722), from the network node (300; 1800; 1912; 2020) at the relay radio device (100; 1600; 1991; 1992; 2030). The received (404) paging message is relayed (408) on a sidelink, SL (730), from the relay radio device (100; 1600; 1991; 1992; 2030) to the remote radio device (200; 1700; 1991; 1992; 2030). The paging message is selectively announced by a paging early indication, PEI, on the DL (722) from the network node (300; 1800; 1912; 2020) at the relay radio device (100; 1600; 1991; 1992; 2030) depending on whether the relay radio device (100; 1600; 1991; 1992; 2030) supports receiving of the PEI and/or independent of whether the remote radio device (200; 1700; 1991; 1992; 2030) supports receiving of the PEI.

    Abstract: An apparatus includes one or more processors and a memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the apparatus to receive a first wake-up signal. The first wake-up signal is one of K wake-up signals, K is an integer greater than or equal to 1, and the K wake-up signals are quasi co-located with K synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), K channel state information-reference signals (CSI-RSs), or K demodulation reference signals (DMRSs). The apparatus is also caused to determine M paging occasions. There is a correspondence between the K wake-up signals and the M paging occasions, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1. The apparatus is further caused to receive, on the M paging occasions, downlink control information (DCI) used for paging.

    Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems that relate to unified extended Discontinuous Reception (eDRX) cycles and Paging Time Window (PTW) lengths for the Core Network (CN) and the Radio Access Network (RAN) are disclosed. In one example aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, by a terminal device, configuration information about a first eDRX cycle for a core network and a second eDRX cycle for an access node. The configuration information indicates applicability of a cycle length that is greater than 10.24 seconds upon the terminal device being in a non-active state. The method also includes performing a communication by the terminal device based on the configuration information.

    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a paging method and an apparatus. A first device sends first signaling used to page a terminal device. The first signaling includes memory information or an identifier of the terminal device, to indicate the to-be-paged terminal device. In addition, the terminal device may further determine a first resource based on the first signaling, to send uplink data by using the first resource. The first device may also receive, on the first resource, the uplink data from the terminal device. The terminal device may determine the first resource based on the first signaling is equivalent to the first device allocating a resource to the terminal device. In this way, steps needing to be performed for data transmission between the terminal device and the first device are reduced.
