    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for a transmission reception point (TRP) related beam failure detection procedure and coexistence of a Layer1/Layer2 (L1/L2) mobility scenario and a Layer3 (L3) mobility scenario under a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) 5G system or the like. The method can be performed by a user equipment (UE) and includes: receiving, from a serving cell, configuration information related to two or more transmission reception points (TRPs) of the serving cell (401); detecting a beam failure of a TRP within the two or more TRPs (402); transmitting a beam failure recovery (BFR) request, wherein the BFR request includes information related to the TRP (403); before receiving a response for the BFR request from the serving cell, detecting a further beam failure of a further TRP within the two or more TRPs (404); and monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) within a period (405).

    Abstract: Methods, a remote unit and a base unit are disclosed. According to one embodiment, a method at a base nit, comprising: generating a wake up signal which indicates that a remote unit shall attempt to receive a paging message in a paging occasion, wherein the wake up signal is generated by L base sequences, each of the L base sequences is mapped to a base resource unit, where L is an integer, wherein the base resource unit includes M continuous Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) in frequency domain and N continuous Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols within a slot in time domain, where M and N are integers; mapping the wake up signal to a frequency-time resource; and transmitting, to the remote unit, the mapped wake up signal in the frequency-time resource.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for random access procedure. A method performed by a user equipment (UE), including: receiving, from a base station (BS), multiple random access (RA) channel (RACH) configurations including a non-feature-related RACH configuration indicating a first subset of preambles in each RA occasion (RO) of a set of ROs configured for a contention-based (CB) RA procedure, and at least one feature-related RACH configuration associated with a first number of features, wherein each feature-related RACH configuration indicates a subset of preambles in each RO of the set of ROs for a feature; and determining a set of preambles for the UE to perform an RA procedure in an RO based on the first subset of preambles and a second subset of preambles that are determined from the at least one feature-related RACH configuration for the first number of features.
