    Abstract: A method for reception mode switching and a terminal are provided. The method includes: switching a reception mode of the terminal from a first reception mode to a second reception mode if a reception mode switching event occurs wherein the first reception mode corresponds to a first quantity of receiving elements of the terminal, and the second reception mode corresponds to a second quantity of receiving elements of the terminal; wherein the receiving element is a receive antenna, a receive antenna port, a receiving port, a receiving channel, a receiving radio frequency channel, or a receive antenna panel.

    Abstract: A positioning method includes receiving, by a backscatter end, a first signal sent by a first communication device; modulating, by the backscatter end, the first signal based on a second reference signal modulation sequence or a third reference signal modulation sequence to obtain a second signal; and sending, by the backscatter end, the second signal to a second communication device. The second reference signal modulation sequence is an orthogonal sequence determined based on binary phase shift keying BPSK modulation information. The third reference signal modulation sequence is determined based on the second reference signal modulation sequence.

    Abstract: A paging indication method, apparatus, and system are provided, which relate to the field of communications technologies, to solve a problem that power consumption of UE is high because the UE blindly detects a PDCCH periodically. A specific solution includes: receiving, by UE, indication information from a network side device, where the indication information is used to indicate a detection parameter used by the UE to detect a paging message, and the detection parameter is used to determine a detection manner used by the UE to detect the paging message; and determining the detection manner based on the detection parameter. The embodiments of the present invention are applied to a process in which the UE determines a detection manner used to detect the paging message.
