摘要: Systems and methods for reconnecting a dropped wireless network node can include a wireless network that includes a gateway device, a parent node, a child node of the parent node, and a neighboring node of the child node. The child node or the gateway device can identify the child node disconnecting from the wireless network, cause a transmission of a reconnection message from one node to another node at a first transmit power level, cause an incremental increase of the first transmit power level to a second transmit power level when the transmission of the message at the first transmit power level fails to reconnect the child node to the wireless network, and cause a transmission of the reconnection message from the one node to the another node at the second transmit power level.

摘要: A method for wireless network operation includes, in a cluster of transmitters and receivers in a wireless network, configuring a transmitter of a first node and a transmitter of an interfering node to transmit only in their own dedicated time-frequency partition a signal at a non-zero transmission power, and to transmit a zero power signal in a second time-frequency partition. A receiver of a second node is configured to measure a first received power in a third time-frequency partition dedicated to an interfering transmitter and a second received power in the second time-frequency partition dedicated to receive interference from outside the cluster. A net signal power is determined by subtracting the second received power from the first received power. A coupling loss between the interfering transmitter and the receiver is computed based on the net signal power and the non-zero transmission power.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a system that obtains uplink parameters associated with different sectors of a wireless network where the uplink parameters are associated with uplink transmissions of a first end user device. The system can determine a differential path loss for the first end user device based on the uplink parameters where the differential path loss is between the different sectors of the wireless network. The system, responsive to a determination that the differential path loss does not satisfy a differential path loss threshold, can determine a restriction for utilization of a particular frequency and power level over a particular time period, where the determination that the differential path loss does not satisfy the differential path loss threshold can be performed without utilizing channel quality data from the first end user device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
