摘要: In a method for generating a physical layer (PHY) data unit for transmission via a communication channel, information bits to be included in the PHY data unit are received. A number of padding bits are added to the information bits. The number of padding bits is determined based on respective virtual values of each of one or more encoding parameters. The information bits are parsed to a number of encoders and are encoded, using the number of encoders, to generate coded bits. The coded bits are padded such that padded coded bits correspond to respective true values of each of the one or more encoding parameters. The PHY data unit is generated to include the padded coded bits.

One or more enclosing polygons of a deployment of access points (APs) are determined, and a first query for a regulatory database is generated based on the one or more enclosing polygons, where the regulatory database is spatially-indexed. In response to the first query, a set of spatial regions is received, where each spatial region in the set of spatial regions is associated with a corresponding set of wireless parameters. A first set of wireless parameters is determined, for at least a first AP in the deployment of APs, based on the set of spatial regions. The first AP is configured based on the first set of wireless parameters.

摘要: A method and device for detecting the reachability of a terminal previously served by a first access device of a registration area of a communication network. The first access device is unable to manage sleep and waking periods of the terminal. The terminal is then served by a second device of the registration area, which is able to manage the periods. The method is implemented by a management entity of the network, which has not been informed of the change of access device. The method includes: exchanging messages with the terminal for registration and negotiation of the sleep and waking periods of the terminal; obtaining an item of information relating to data to be transmitted to the terminal; and sending a contact-establishment request message to the terminal during a determined waking period of the terminal.

摘要: A method can include, by operation of a wireless device, monitoring at least a first advertising channel for an advertising packet; in response to advertising data in the advertising packet, synchronizing transmission and reception of packets to an advertising link that includes sub-intervals within a repeating interval on a second advertising channel. During a download sub-interval of the sub-intervals, and update packet can be received that includes new parameter data. During an upload sub-interval of the sub-intervals, transmitting an update response packet indicating the new parameter data has been received. Wireless operations of the wireless device can be configured according to the new parameter data. Communications can continue with the same advertising link while operating according to the new parameter data. Corresponding devices and systems are also disclosed.
