摘要: A method and apparatus for supporting XR services is provided. The method of a terminal includes receiving from a base station a Radio Resource Control (RRC) message, wherein the RRC message comprises a set of Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) parameters, establishing a PDCP entity based on the set of PDCP parameters, receiving from the base station a PDCP discard report and updating a first state variable based on the PDCP discard report. The first state variable relates to start of a reordering timer. One or more PDCP Service Data Units (SDUs) are delivered from the PDCP entity to an upper layer in case that the reordering timer expires.

摘要: An application processor sends a TCP packet to the modem, where the TCP packet is used by the modem to generate a wireless protocol data packet corresponding to the TCP packet, so that the modem sends the wireless protocol data packet to a base station. The application processor receives first status information from the modem, where the first status information is status information of the wireless protocol data packet or status information of the TCP packet. The application processor determines, based on the first status information, whether the TCP packet is successfully sent to the base station. If the TCP packet is successfully sent to the base station, the application processor starts a retransmission timer corresponding to the TCP packet. If the TCP packet is not successfully sent to the base station, the application processor sends the TCP packet to the modem again.

摘要: Methods and techniques are described for initiating a periodic and triggered location in a target UE. After an LCS Client requests initiation of periodic and triggered location reporting from the UE, two intermediate responses are returned by a network. A first response indicates that the periodic and triggered location request has been received and accepted by the network. A second response indicates that periodic and triggered location has been activated in the UE. Additionally, a periodic and triggered location request may include a maximum event sampling interval and a maximum reporting interval and one or more location triggers. The maximum event sampling interval can limit UE power consumption and the maximum reporting interval can detect when periodic and triggered location is no longer active in a UE. The location triggers may include periodic reporting, reporting using area events or reporting based on UE motion.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a control message indicating semi-persistent (SP) resources for multiple wireless devices scheduling within a set of resource reservation periods. The UE may measure one or more channel conditions of a channel during a first resource reservation period of the set of resource reservation periods, the channel associated with the SP resources for the multiple wireless devices. Additionally, the UE may adapt a compression parameter of one or more signals to be transmitted to the multiple wireless devices during the first resource reservation period based on the one or more channel conditions and may transmit, to the multiple wireless devices, one or more compressed signals generated based on the compression parameter and the one or more signals.

摘要: In some implementations, a first device associated with a wireless simulation environment may detect that a packet is associated with a packet size that exceeds a threshold. The first device may perform a fragmentation of the packet by splitting the packet into a plurality of sub-packets. The first device may insert a header for each sub-packet that indicates quality of service (QOS) information associated with the packet and an allowed time for reassembling the packet. The first device may transmit each sub-packet of the plurality of sub-packets. A second device associated with the wireless simulation environment may receive each sub-packet of the plurality of sub-packets. The second device may perform a reassembly of the plurality of sub-packets to obtain the packet.
