    Abstract: An image encoder includes a tone mapper, an enhancement layer and an image file generator. The tone mapper is used to generate a base image according to an enhanced image and red green blue (RGB) gains. The RGB gains are set close to or the same as each other. The enhancement layer is used to generate a tone curve and/or a gain map of the base image and the enhanced image according to the tone mapper and/or a group including the base image and the enhanced image. The image file generator is used to generate an image file according to the base image and at least one member of a group including the tone curve and the gain map.

    Abstract: A system is provided for generating video content with hue-preservation in virtual production. The system comprises a memory for storing instructions and a processor configured to execute the instructions. Based on the executed instructions, the processor is further configured to control a saturation of scene linear data based on mapping of a first color gamut corresponding to a first encoding format of raw data to a second color gamut corresponding to a defined color space. The processor is further configured to determine a standard dynamic range (SDR) video content in the defined color space based on the scene linear data. Based on a scaling factor that is applied to three primary color values that describe the first color gamut, hue of the SDR video content is preserved.

A system on chip includes a shared memory configured to store image data and a processor configured to: generate a first correction value by performing first image processing for a first pixel value of a first pixel of the image data received from the shared memory, generate a second correction value by performing second image processing, which is different from the first image processing, for the first pixel value of the image data received from the shared memory, generate a third correction value by performing third image processing, which is different from the first image processing and the second image processing, for the first pixel value of the image data received from the shared memory, and output a first pixel correction value that is changed from the first pixel value by comparing the first to third correction values with the first pixel value and selecting one of the first to third correction values.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses an image processing method, apparatus, and a storage medium. The method includes: parsing an original bitstream of a to-be-processed image to obtain the to-be-processed image; parsing a first layered bitstream of the to-be-processed image to obtain a first layered image of the to-be-processed image; determining a second layered image of the to-be-processed image based on the to-be-processed image and the first layered image, where one of the first layered image and the second layered image is a base layer image, and the other of the first layered image and the second layered image is a detail layer image; performing tone mapping on the base layer image to obtain a mapping result of the base layer image; and fusing the mapping result of the base layer image and the detail layer image.
