摘要: A system for demodulating and decoding received messages transmitted along a vehicle power line includes a reference signal generator, a timer, and a demodulation and decoding circuit. The circuit determines whether a message is present on the power line by identifying a symbol indicative of a message preamble, subsequently setting the timer to a time corresponding to a predetermined length of the message preamble, detecting, during the time, a plurality of symbols and determining whether the symbols indicate the presence of a message preamble. The circuit then extracts data from the message by activating the reference signal generator, adding the reference signal to the message to produce an equivalent signal, detecting a symbol in the equivalent signal indicative of the message data body, subsequently setting the timer to a time corresponding to a predetermined length of the message data body and detecting, during the time, a second plurality of symbols.

摘要: Techniques and apparatuses are described that facilitate ambient computing using a radar system. Compared to other smart devices that rely on a physical user interface, a smart device with a radar system can support ambient computing by providing an eye-free interaction and less cognitively demanding gesture-based user interface. The radar system can be designed to address a variety of challenges associated with ambient computing, including power consumption, environmental variations, background noise, size, and user privacy. The radar system uses an ambient-computing machine-learned module to quickly recognize gestures performed by a user up to at least two meters away. The ambient-computing machine-learned module is trained to filter background noise and have a sufficiently low false positive rate to enhance the user experience.

摘要: An apparatus for determining a suitability of a frequency band for data communication with a node by way of a communication channel may be provided. The apparatus may comprise a receiver configured to receive first and second signals from the node by way of the communication channel, the first and second signals having frequencies within the frequency band. The apparatus may comprise processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the receiver, the processing circuitry being configured to determine a calibration function depending on the first signal, process the second signal depending on the calibration function, determine the suitability of the frequency band for data communication with the node by way of the communication channel depending on the processed second signal and output an indication of the said suitability. The processing circuitry may be configured to determine the suitability of the frequency band for data communication with the node depending on the processed second signal by comparison of the processed second signal to predetermined reference data.

摘要: A reference signaling scheme is provided that is based on the use of a Zadoff Chu sequence with cyclic repetition, optionally code division multiplexing precoding, together with frequency domain spectral shaping (FDSS). A specific pulse shape design for the FDSS part of the reference signal scheme in some embodiments involves the use of a raised cosine pulse raised to the power of β. The new solution for generating reference signals has a Low peak average power ratio that matches the PAPR of SC-OQAM, good channel estimation performance, and the ability to implement CDM in the frequency domain to increase multiplexing gain.

The first 0° output is split into a second 0° output and a first 180° output using a continuous transmission line. The 90° output is split into a third 0° output and a second 180° output using a continuous transmission line. The second 0° output, the first 180° output, the third 0° output, and the second 180° output are modulated. The modulated second 0° output, the first 180° output, the third 0° output, and the second 180° output are recombined to produce an output signal, where all four of the modulated second 0° output, the first 180° output, the third 0° output, and the second 180° output are used to create the output signal.
