    摘要: A method and associated system for determining an operating parameter of a PV installation having a plurality of PV modules is disclosed. The PV modules each include a shutdown apparatus connected to a transmission apparatus of the PV installation and has a feed-in operation and a shutdown operation. At least one PV module is equipped with a power-optimizing device which is configured to set an operating point of the PV module in an optimizing operation. The method includes determining a first total electrical power of the PV modules in a non-optimizing operation of the at least one power-optimizing device and in the feed-in operation of the shutdown apparatuses, and determining a second total electrical power of the PV modules in the optimizing operation of all the power-optimizing devices and in the feed-in operation of the shutdown apparatuses. The method also includes determining the operating parameter using a difference between the determined first total electrical power and the determined second total electrical power.

    摘要: An apparatus for predicting useful life of a photovoltaic module includes an input and an output. The input receives first information indicating an amount of hygrothermal stress that a photovoltaic module undergoes from a start until an end of a period during which the photovoltaic module outputs predetermined electric power. The input further receives second information indicating an amount of hygrothermal stress that the photovoltaic module undergoes per a predetermined time in a field where the photovoltaic module is deployed. The second information is generated based on information about daily maximum temperatures of the photovoltaic module in the field where the photovoltaic module is deployed. The output outputs result information about a predicted period during which the photovoltaic module is expected to output the predetermined electric power when the photovoltaic module is deployed in the field.

    摘要: An inverter and a method for identifying a fault on an alternating current side of a photovoltaic system are provided. A controller records a waveform of a preset parameter of the photovoltaic system, and then transmits the recorded waveform to an external device. The external device that performs relatively excellently in data storage and processing stores the waveform and performs subsequent processing, to accurately recognize the fault on the alternating current side of the inverter. Further, the fine waveform can be seen from the external device, so that the accuracy of system monitoring is greatly improved. Moreover, the external device analyzes the waveform and generates a control instruction to accurately control the inverter due to advantages of storage capacity, big data, and computing power. In addition, system performance can be optimized in cooperation with a local control unit.

    摘要: An installation test circuit for a photovoltaic (PV) system with rapid shutdown includes a voltage generator, which is coupled to a solar panel in the PV system, and generates a first output voltage and a second output voltage according to a first control signal, a second control signal and a voltage source outputted by the solar panel. A voltage difference between the first output voltage and the second output voltage is less than or equal to the voltage source. The first control signal and the second control signal control the voltage generator to determine the first output voltage and the second output voltage. A test output voltage can be generated for solar panel using a minimum number of circuit components, ranging from 0.6V to 1V. This makes it easier to determine the correct installation of the photovoltaic system by measuring a lower output voltage compared to existing technologies.
