The control circuit is configured to receive a voltage signal from a voltage-controlled oscillator, delay the voltage signal for a delay time to generate a first control signal, and to generate a second control signal according to the first control signal and the voltage signal. The scope circuit is configured to generate a first current signal in response to the second control signal and the voltage signal. The time-to-current converter is configured generate a second current signal according to the first control signal, the voltage signal, a first switch signal, and a test control signal.

Abstract:
A control method and system for filtering power line interference is disclosed. The control method includes the following steps. First, ECG signals are pre-segmented and rectified; then the sinusoidal frequency, amplitude, and phase of the rectified segmented signals are extracted. These estimated sinusoidal parameters from each recorded channel are weighted by their individual signal to noise ratios before being averaged to achieve the optimal powerline frequency, amplitude, and phase. Based on these optimal sinusoidal parameters, the individual sinusoidal waveform is reconstructed and then is subtracted from the corresponding ECG segment, in order to obtain the clean ECG signals. This method of filtering the powerline interference through removal from recorded signals enables accurate measurement without any ringing effect that could lead to signal distortion issues. Thus this invention solves the ringing problem encountered by traditional notch filter techniques when signal amplitude suddenly changes in a measurement.

Systems can include a test and measurement tool configured to generate measurement data, and imaging tool configured to generate image data, and a processor in communication with the imaging tool and the test and measurement tool. The processor can be configured to receive image data from the imaging tool and, if the image data satisfies one or more predetermined conditions, trigger the test and measurement tool to perform one or more corresponding operations. Similarly, the processor can receive measurement data from the test and measurement tool and, if the measurement data satisfies one or more predetermined conditions trigger the imaging tool to perform one or more corresponding operations.

A method for calibrating a test instrument having an initial output voltage level and an open output relay can include programming the test instrument for a certain current level, starting a timer, and stopping the timer (responsive to the test instrument entering compliance) to determine a time interval. The method can also include determining whether the time interval is within a desired range.
Abstract:
A system may include an electric field sensor, an analog to digital converter, and an estimator. The electric field sensor may measure electric fields of electric power grid. The analog to digital converter may generate digital output based upon measurements from the electric field sensor. The estimator may estimate phasor data of the electric power grid based upon the digital output.

A measuring device for an oscilloscope provides a decimation unit. The decimation unit provides at least one input, which receives a datastream with a plurality of sampled values from at least one data source. The decimation unit also has at least one output, at which a reduced datastream is output. The reduced datastream is formed from a root-mean-squared value of respectively at least two sampled values calculated by the decimation unit.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an electric fence voltmeter having a peak detection type voltage divider. The peak detection type voltage divider has an extremely simple configuration composed of two capacitor voltage dividers and two rectifier diodes for detecting the positive and the negative peak voltages of a high voltage pulse with an additional pulse state voltage having information on the moments the high voltage pulse starts and peaks. Thus, the voltmeter has reduced number of parts with simplified circuits, and is able to measure the peak voltage accurately with a reliable and efficient manner using the pulse state voltage. Thereby the voltmeter has benefits of improved measurement accuracy, reduced production cost, and low battery consumption.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for creating Campbell diagram displays for illustrating vibration characteristics of a moving apparatus, such as a rotary machine, are provided. Data, representing vibration amplitudes and frequencies are recorded against rotational speeds of an apparatus. The data is used to create waveforms representing the forward and/or reverse vibration frequencies of the apparatus. The waveforms in turn are used to create spectral line envelopes to provide enhanced two dimensional images indicating the amplitudes of the vibrations of the apparatus at particular rotational speeds. The spectral line envelopes may be empty, filled with one or more colors, or other illustration features to impart solidity to the envelopes to enhance visibility.
