摘要: A power conversion device includes a power conversion circuit including a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature at a sensor position and a switch configured to switch a connection on and off at a switch position separated from the sensor position; a loss calculation processing circuitry configured to calculate a power loss in the switch; a loss correction processing circuitry configured to correct a calculation result of the power loss on the basis of a detection result of the temperature at the sensor position; a temperature correction processing circuitry configured to correct the detection result of the temperature on the basis of the calculation result of the power loss; and a temperature estimation processing circuitry configured to estimate a temperature at the switch position on the basis of a corrected calculation result of the power loss and a corrected detection result of the temperature.

The controller controls the plurality of power switch devices and the plurality of contactors, configuring the system to operate in one of a traction mode and a charging mode, where in the charging mode a dual active bridge is created which can receive power from an external power supply or distribute power to the external power supply.

摘要: This application describes a variety of approaches for generating high voltage sinusoidal signals whose output voltage can be adjusted rapidly, without introducing high-frequency artifacts on the output. When these approaches are used, stronger electric fields can be applied to the tumor for a higher percentage of time, which can increase the efficacy of TTFields therapy. In some embodiments, this is accomplished by preventing adjustments to a DC power source during times when the output of that DC power source is powering the output signal. In some embodiments, this is accomplished by synchronizing the operation of an AC voltage generator and an electronic switch that is connected to the output of the AC voltage generator.

摘要: Provided is a gradationally controlled inverter formed by series-connection between: a main inverter circuitry which has main inverter arms for outputting AC voltages for respective phases, and to which a voltage of a DC source is applied through a DC busbar; and a sub-inverter circuitry having three single-phase sub-inverters. Each of short-circuit switches is connected between an input terminal and an output terminal of a corresponding one of the sub-inverters. At the time of a failure of the sub-inverter, a bypass for current is formed for only the failure phase by causing short-circuiting at the short-circuit switch connected to the sub-inverter, and only the main inverter arm for the failure phase is operated as a three-level inverter.

摘要: An apparatus can include an inverter to provide an output N-phase alternating-current to an external component. When N equals two, a phase of the N phases can include an upper gate and a lower gate. The apparatus can also include a current detector configured to detect a phase current magnitude of the output alternating current. The apparatus can also include a controller coupled to the current detector and to the inverter. The controller can generate a gate command for controlling a gate of the inverter. The controller can also determine a value for a current threshold less than a shutoff current threshold for the external component. The controller can provide a protection command to turn off the upper gate of a corresponding phase of the inverter responsive to detecting that the phase current magnitude is greater than the current threshold.

According to the invention, in the discharging mode the DESAT terminal (21) is electrically connected to a cathode (16) of the first semiconductor switch (13B) in order to inhibit triggering of the DESAT protection circuit (15).
