    Abstract: A power conversion system with ripple injection includes an AC-DC conversion unit, a voltage regulation unit, at least one DC-DC conversion unit, at least one load, and a first control unit. The voltage regulation unit provides a DC link and receives one portion of an input power as an energy storage power. Each DC-DC conversion unit receives the other portion of the input power as an output power. The at least one load correspondingly receives the output power for being supplied power. The first control unit is coupled to the DC link, the at least one DC-DC conversion unit, and the at least one load. The first control unit controls the at least one DC-DC conversion unit to adjust a magnitude of a ripple of the output power to perform a ripple injection operation according to a magnitude of a ripple of the input power.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, a system includes: a differential multilevel converter comprising a differential input to receive two different voltages; a plurality of switches coupled between the input terminals; and a capacitor having a first terminal coupled to a first terminal of a first one of the plurality of switches and a second terminal coupled to a first terminal of a second, different one of the plurality of switches; and an output terminal coupled to a first terminal of a third, different one of the plurality of switches. The differential multilevel converter can be part of a hybrid supply generator/modulator. The system can further include a controller configured to control selected ones of the plurality of switches to switch, at points in time, between a plurality of switch states with each switch state producing an output voltage corresponding to one of three discrete voltage levels.

    Abstract: The present application relates to the field of power electronics technology control, and discloses a temperature control method for a power supply conversion chip, a related assembly, and a multi-phase power supply apparatus. A real-time average value of current temperature accumulation values of power supply conversion chips is calculated, and the output current of the power supply conversion chip whose current temperature accumulation value is not equal to the real-time average value is increased or decreased. The temperature of a power supply conversion chip increases as the output current increases and decreases as the output current decreases, and the temperature of the power supply conversion chip changes under a condition that the output current of the power supply conversion chip is adjusted.

    Abstract: An integrated circuit for a power supply circuit, including: a first command value output circuit outputting a first command value to turn on a transistor of the power supply circuit for a first time period; an on signal output circuit outputting an on signal to turn on the transistor; a delay circuit delaying the on signal by a predetermined time period; a correction circuit correcting the first command value, to output a second command value to turn on the transistor for a second time period; and a driver circuit turning on and off the transistor based respectively on the delayed on-signal and the second command value. The correction circuit corrects the first command value based on the predetermined time period and a ratio between the second time period and another time period from when the transistor is turned off to when an inductor current of the power supply circuit reaches a predetermined value.

    Abstract: A method of making a triple well isolated diode includes growing an epi-layer over a substrate. The method further includes forming a first isolation feature in the epi layer. The method includes implanting a first well in the epi-layer. The method further includes implanting a second well in the epi-layer, wherein a first isolation feature separates a portion of the second well from a portion of the first well. The method further includes implanting a third well in the epi-layer, wherein a sidewall of third well contacts a sidewall of the second well. The method further includes implanting a deep well in the epi-layer, wherein the deep well extends beneath the first well, the deep well extends underneath a first portion of the second well, and a second portion of the second well extends beyond the deep well in a first direction parallel to a top surface of the substrate.

    Abstract: A circuit that includes a power transistor and at least one sense transistor and that uses the control drive terminal to not only control the power transistor and the sense transistor, but also to provide power to a current sense circuit. The control nodes of the power transistor and sense transistor are connected, and the input nodes of the power transistor and the sense transistor are also connected. The current sense circuit is connected to the sense transistor control node and is configured to detect current passing through the sense transistor. The current sense circuit is also connected to the control drive terminal and is configured to draw power from the control drive terminal when a high control signal is present on the control drive terminal. Accordingly, the current sense circuit does not require an independent fixed high voltage supply in order to operate.

The power regulators may be connected in series or in parallel, and may form a string. Each power regulator may comprise input terminals connected to the corresponding power source, output terminals, and a power converter that may be configured to convert input power from the corresponding power source to output power. The power regulator may further comprise a regulator communications module that may be configured to receive a power regulation indication relating to regulating an operational characteristic of the power regulator. The regulator controller may be configured to instruct the power converter to increase or decrease the regulator operational characteristic based on the power regulation indication, and based on power production characteristics of the power regulator.
