摘要: The connector system is configured for use in a power distribution system of a motor vehicle, and wherein the connector system includes a female housing, female terminal assembly, and a female interlock (FIL) assembly. The female housing having an arrangement of side walls that define a receptacle that is configured to receive the female terminal assembly. The female interlock (FIL) assembly positioned within the female terminal assembly that resides within the receptacle of the female housing to define a fully assembled female state SFAF, whereby the FIL assembly is configured to be coupled to an interlock circuit that prevents electrical current from flowing through the female terminal assembly prior to connection of the female terminal assembly to a male terminal assembly.

摘要: An electrical connector includes a housing and a contact having a bellows contact structure. The contact has a substantially rectangular parallelepiped frame body including an upper-surface portion, a lower-surface portion, and a pair of side surface portions facing each other therebetween. At one end of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped frame body in a longitudinal direction, a contact-spring portion for contacting with a mating terminal is provided. At the other end of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped frame body in the longitudinal direction, a fixing portion that is fixed to the housing is provided. The contact has an elastic structure that is included in the substantially rectangular parallelepiped frame body interposed between the contact-spring portion and the fixing portion. The elastic structure of the contact is segmented into the upper-surface portion, the pair of side-surface portions, and the lower-surface portion of the substantially rectangular parallelepiped frame body.

摘要: A connector assembly for connecting together parts to convey movement of a medium, such as electric current. The connector assembly includes first and second connectors for connection to each other. The second connector has a core body with an inner chamber, within which a conveyance device is mounted. A fastener is at least partially supported on the core body. The fastener has an engagement portion moveable between an engaged position and a disengaged position to connect and disconnect the first and second connectors, respectively. A sleeve is disposed over the core body. The sleeve is linearly and angularly moveable to move the engagement portion of the fastener from the engaged position to the disengaged position. An actuator may be mounted to the sleeve and is also operable to move the engagement portion of the fastener from the engaged position to the disengaged position.

The coupler further comprises a lever arm (35) pivotally mounted to the housing, the lever arm comprising a latch (46) adapted to cooperate with a surface of a guide piece (40, 41) of the second connector part (20). The lever arm comprises a resilient member (37, 78), remote from the latch and from the second end (32) of the housing, which biases the lever arm towards a closed position, coaxial with a longitudinal axis (72) of the housing, in which position the latch protrudes through an aperture (66) in the housing.

In this manner, PCB footprint may be reduced (e.g., by 50% when a staggered connector configuration is used), while adequate current carrying capacity may be maintained (e.g., 2 A, 3 A, 4 A, etc.). Additionally, or alternatively, one or more other advantages may be achieved, such as ruggedness (e.g., vibration endurance), error proofing, configuration flexibility, ease of manufacturing, ease of assembly, and/or lowered costs.

摘要: A power coupler includes an input end assembly and an output end assembly separably coupled to the input end assembly. The input end assembly includes an input end base including a slot, a sealing cover arranged at the input end base, an input conductive member arranged at the input end base and connected to an external power supply, and a self-locking structure. The sealing cover is movable between a closing position to cover a slot port of the slot and an opening position to at least partially open the slot port. The self-locking structure is switchable between a locked state to limit the sealing cover from moving towards the opening position and an unlocked state to not limit the sealing cover. The output end assembly includes an output conductive member configured to extend into the slot and be connected to the input conductive member.
