    摘要: An apparatus switches a direct current in a high-voltage line. The apparatus contains a multiplicity of switching units, which are arranged so as to form a series circuit in the high-voltage line. Each switching unit in this case contains a switching element and a surge arrester arranged in a parallel circuit with the switching element, the threshold voltage of the surge arrester being higher than a rated voltage of the switching element. A sum of the rated voltages of the switching elements corresponds at least to an operating voltage of the high-voltage line. The switching elements are mechanical switches, and each mechanical switch contains a contact arrangement having two disconnectable contact pieces and is configured to build up an arcing voltage on disconnection of the contact pieces with a magnitude which is higher than the rated voltage of the mechanical switch.

    摘要: An arc extinguishing chamber of a pole of an electrical circuit breaker having rotating arc device, the extinguishing chamber operating by self-extinguishing expansion, includes an elongated housing sealed off at both ends by end plates. Coaxially inside the housing there are disposed tubular contacts and a magnetic blowout coil. Along the length of the extinguishing zone defined by the separation distance between the contacts, there is located a sleeve positioned to leave a gap, which allows a top open area of the chamber and a bottom open area of the chamber, located on opposite sides of the extinguishing zone, to communicate. The gap allows the gases to flow between these two areas and fins arranged on a bottom portion of the chamber slow down rotation of the gases to direct them to the extinguishing zone.

    摘要: A device for separably assembling first and second enclosures of an electric cut-out apparatus, said enclosures being filled with a dielectric fluid under pressure and having a rod for operating the cut-out apparatus passing therethrough with the compressed fluid in each of said enclosures being in communication with the compressed fluid in the other enclosure when the cut-out apparatus is in operation. The assembly device includes an intermediate slidable sealing air lock (41) which seals the first chamber and the second chamber. The air lock includes first and second separable portions (7,45) which are fast with respective ones of said enclosures. The operating rod (42) inside the air lock is separable into first and second portions (6,12) which are fast with respective ones of said enclosures. The invention applies in particular to compressed gas high tension circuit breakers.

    摘要: A circuit interrupter comprises a pair of contacts in a container filled with a gas for extinction; an insulation nozzle around the contacts to form an arc chamber; a gas chamber which is connected to the arc chamber under departing the contacts. The gas pressure in the arc chamber and the gas chamber is increased by the energy of the arc generated at the departing the contacts. When the arc current is large, the flow-out of the gas from the arc chamber and the gas chamber is decreased by the arc whereas the high pressure gas in the arc chamber and the gas chamber is discharged through the insulation nozzle into the container at the time decreasing the arc current near zero whereby the arc is interrupted by the gas flow discharged.

    摘要: A switchgear includes an interrupter unit. The interrupter unit is provided with first and second switching contact pieces that are movable relative to one another. A switching-gas duct that runs through the interrupter unit originates at an arc gap in which an electric arc can burn. The duct connects the arc gap to the surroundings of the interrupter unit. At least some sections of the switching-gas duct are delimited by mutually encompassing elements similar to an annular duct. One of the elements is a first member which is braced at the end similar to a pipe joint and which has a free end that projects in the direction of the arc gap.

    摘要: A current-interrupting chamber is filled with a dielectric fluid and includes a moving assembly. The moving assembly is mounted to move axially between a position at the start of a circuit-breaker opening operation and a position at the end of a circuit-breaker opening operation. The moving assembly has a first compression chamber whose volume decreases between the start position and a position in which the first chamber is open; a first arcing contact designed to co-operate with a second arcing contact; and a second compression chamber communicating with the first compression chamber. The volume of the second compression chamber decreases between the start position and the end position. The second compression chamber is designed to inject fluid into the first compression chamber, between the open position and the end position, when the pressure in the first chamber is lower than the pressure in the second chamber.
