摘要: This invention describes a packaging structure for roll-type (wound-type) aluminum conductive polymer capacitor element. Two protective substrates are applied to sandwich a roll-type capacitor element in between with an insulating material surrounding the capacitor element also in between the protective substrates. The protective substrates comprise electrically separated anodic conductive pad and cathodic conductive pad on their surfaces and through holes that pass through the conductive pads. The capacitor element is oriented with its axis perpendicular to the two substrates. The anodic and cathodic leads of the capacitor element pass through the through holes. An anodic external terminal is plated over the anodic conductive pad and a cathodic external terminal is plated over the cathodic conductive pad so that the anodic external terminal is electrically connected to the anodic lead and the cathodic external terminal is electrically connected to the cathodic lead.

摘要: A power storage cell includes: an exterior container having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface located between the top surface and the bottom surface; and an insulating film that covers at least the side surface of the exterior container. The insulating film has a juncture on the side surface of the exterior container, and the juncture on the side surface is heat-sealed. A heat-sealed portion on the side surface has a termination portion at a position separated from the top surface or the bottom surface of the exterior container.

摘要: An electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, an exterior body covering the capacitor element, an anode terminal electrically connected to an anode body of the capacitor element, and a cathode terminal electrically connected to a cathode portion of the capacitor element. Each of the anode terminal and the cathode terminal includes a connection portion in contact with the capacitor element, a lead-out portion led out from the connection portion to an outer surface of the exterior body, and an external terminal portion disposed along the outer surface of the external body and having an exposed surface exposed from the external body. At least a part of a covered portion of the lead-out portion, the covered portion being covered with the exterior body, has a cross-sectional shape including a chamfered shape corner portion in a cross section parallel to a surface region of the outer surface of the exterior body where the lead-out portion is led out.

摘要: A method for generating smoke in a cell pack by which a very small amount of smoke can be generated from a specific single unit cell among unit cells constituting the cell pack. The method causes smoke generation in a cell pack in which unit cells are connected and which includes a positive electrode output terminal for electrically connecting the positive electrode terminal of the unit cell and an external device, and a negative electrode output terminal for electrically connecting the negative electrode terminal of the unit cell and an external device. By attaching a heating means to the negative electrode output terminal, the electrode body of a specific single unit cell is heated through the negative electrode output terminal to which the heating means is attached. As a result, it is possible to cause the generation of a small amount of smoke from the specific single unit cell.

摘要: A method for preparing a stacked solid aluminum electrolytic capacitor is disclosed. The method includes preparation of a plurality of cores, stacking and fixing of the plurality of cores in a case and encapsulation of the case. The core is prepared through the following steps. An I-shaped aluminum foil is divided into an anode part and a cathode part by applying an insulating blocking tape, where the cathode part includes a dielectric layer, which is subjected to formation. A conductive polymer layer is formed on a surface of the cathode part, and is then impregnated with conductive colloidal graphite followed by drying to form a conductive carbon paste layer. The conductive carbon paste layer is impregnated with a conductive silver paste followed by drying to form a conductive silver paste layer. After that, a core is obtained.

摘要: Electrolytic capacitors may use a canister and a lid to confine an electrolyte and prevent the electrolyte from evaporating during use, and an improved seal between the canister and the lid may be achieved by increasing the surface area of the seal. For example, the surface area of the seal may be increased by changing the shape and/or thickness of the canister edge. For example, the surface area of the seal may be increased by changing the shape of an elastomer layer of the lid and/or adding an annular protuberance at the circumference of the lid. For example, the surface area of the seal may be changed by changing the process for forming the edge during the capacitor sealing.

摘要: This invention describes packaging structures and methods for electronic devices, especially for solid electrolytic capacitor devices. A packaging structure applies at least two protective substrates to sandwich one or multiple capacitor elements stacked together in between with an insulating material surrounding the capacitor elements also in between the protective substrates. Each protective substrate comprises an anodic conductor pad and a cathodic conductor pad. The anodic conductor pad is electrically connected to an external anode terminal, which is in turn electrically connected to the tip face of the anode end of the capacitor element. The cathodic pad is electrically connected to the cathode of the capacitor element as well as to an external cathode terminal. For quantity production, the basic concept includes sandwiching hundreds of capacitor elements in between large thin protective substrates and bonding them to the conductor pads on the protective substrates; then filling in the insulating material by a capillary filling process; then curing the assembly into a first intermediate assembly. A second intermediate assembly is then made by cutting slots over the first intermediate assembly to expose the anodic and cathodic ends of each capacitor device for subsequent metal depositions to make the external terminals.
