摘要: The invention provides an autonomous vehicle and intelligent control (AVIC) system with distributed AI computing, which is a component of a Connected Automated Vehicle Highway (CAVH) system. This AVIC system is configured to realize training and application for distributed AI computing by providing automated vehicles (AVs) and/or connected automated vehicles (CAVs) with vehicle-specific control instructions comprising instructions for vehicle longitudinal and lateral position, speed, and steering and control. Detailed and time-sensitive vehicle-specific control instructions comprise control instructions for speed, spacing, lane designation, vehicle following, lane changing, and/or route guidance. Specifically, through the system, CAVs can be effectively and efficiently controlled by the AVIC system. In addition, the AVIC system is configured to provide vehicle-specific control instructions to CAVs and control them through a hierarchy of traffic control centers/traffic control units (TCCs/TCUs) or the combination of TCCs/TCUs and the onboard units (OBUs) with vehicle control modules.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed for detecting a point-of-impact of a vehicle collision. A mobile device receives a set of sensor measurements from sensors of the mobile device. The mobile device generates a crash feature vector from the sensor measurements and one or more point-of-impact features. The mobile device executes a set of classifiers using the crash feature vector and the one or more point-of-impact features. Each classifier of the set of classifiers is configured to generate an output that is partially indicative of a point-of-impact of the collision. The mobile device generates, from the output of each classifier of the set of classifiers, a prediction of a point of impact of the vehicle collision. The mobile device then transmits an indication of the point of impact to a remote device.

摘要: A system and method are provided, which allow avoiding inter-vehicle collisions at intersections. The system comprises a first sub-system mounted in a first vehicle and a second sub-system mounted in a second vehicle. Each of the sub-systems continuously receives navigation data with geographical coordinates of the corresponding vehicle after a threshold time period to determine that there is an intersection ahead. The first sub-system continuously broadcasts the navigation data of the first vehicle. The second sub-system continuously receives the broadcast navigation data and continuously compares the navigation data of the vehicles. If they are coincident, the second sub-system determines which of the vehicles must give way at the intersection based on traffic rules. If it is the second vehicle, the second sub-system notifies the first sub-system that it will take a collision avoidance action.

摘要: A travelling control system includes vehicles each with a controller configured to execute travelling control, a server including a generator configured to generate travelling control information, and a determiner configured to determine priority with respect to the vehicles including a first vehicle. In a case that the determiner has determined to give priority to the first vehicle, the generator of the server generates the travelling control information for each of the vehicles such that a travelling of the first vehicle has priority over a travelling of other vehicle, even in a case that the first vehicle has lower priority, based on the priority rule in traffic. The determiner is configured to determine to temporarily give priority to the first vehicle in a case that there is a request from the first vehicle stopped for performing traffic-jam-cutting-in.

A traffic law violation is detected if the following distance in the detection region continuously falls short of a distance threshold.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing predictions regarding traffic conditions based upon learned/measured traffic conditions. Current traffic conditions can be measured and characterized based on speed or other factors as a vehicle traverses the route. These measured traffic conditions can be compared to predicted traffic conditions. A weighting term can be associated with the measured traffic conditions based upon the comparison. During a subsequent time that the vehicle traverses the route, a traffic conditions prediction may be made. The weighting term and measured traffic conditions data can be used to adjust the traffic conditions prediction for better accuracy, and an optimal time(s) during which a battery of a hybrid vehicle can be pre-charged can be requested.
