摘要: There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

摘要: A leak detection device for combined integral and localizing leak detection, comprising a test specimen port (14), a test specimen high vacuum pump (16), the inlet of which is connected with the test specimen port (14), at least one pre-vacuum pump (20), the inlet of which is connected via a test specimen line (18) with the outlet (19) of the test specimen high vacuum pump (16), and a gas detector (32) connected with the pre-vacuum pump (20), which is connected via at least a first gas line (28) with the test specimen high vacuum pump (16), the test specimen line (18) and/or the specimen port (14) such that gas from the test specimen port (14) is supplied to the gas detector (32) via the gas line (28) for gas analysis, characterized in that a gas pressure measuring volume (22) connected with a gas pressure sensor is configured in the test specimen line (18) such that, during the gas measurement with the gas detector (32), an integral leak detection can be carried out by measuring the pressure profile in the gas pressure measuring volume (22).

摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for an oil filter-leak pressure-test station. The oil filter-leak pressure-test station comprises an air pump, a pressure gauge, a vent valve, an overflow reservoir, and a manifold configured to receive an oil filter. The oil filter-leak pressure-test station is configured to apply a desired internal air pressure to an oil filter for observing the oil filter assembly for any potential leaks, such as along a seal ring, rolled seam or a nut-end. The oil filter-leak pressure-test station is also configured to be mounted in a vise or similar mechanical attachment for observation to determine the extent or existence of any leak in the oil filter. The oil filter-leak pressure-test station may also be submerged in water using a submersion reservoir, so as to determine the existence and location of any leaks.

摘要: There is described a fluid flow measuring and control device for installation within plumbing. The device comprises a main flow channelling system having an inlet and an outlet for connection to the plumbing, and a bypass channelling system in parallel from the main flow channelling system. A flowmeter is provided in the bypass channelling system for measuring the fluid flow in the bypass channelling system and thereby estimating the fluid flow at the inlet or at the outlet of the main flow channelling system. The flowmeter may comprise a wheel and a pair of movement sensors. A valve such as a solenoid valve can be provided as an on/off control for the plumbing. Using a microcontroller, the device can identify which appliance is used and determine consumption, or detect abnormal use or leaks and close the valve and/or notify a user mobile device.

摘要: Provided is a method of detecting a leak in a hydraulic cylinder of a rotor blade pitch system of a wind turbine including a plurality of rotor blades, which method includes the steps of selecting one of the pitch systems to undergo a functionality test; actuating a fluid pump to move the pistons of the hydraulic cylinders of the pitch systems to their outermost positions; monitoring the hydraulic cylinder pressure levels of the non-selected pitch systems while performing the functionality test on the selected pitch system; and analyzing the monitored hydraulic cylinder pressure levels of the pitch systems to detect a drop in pressure in a pitch cylinder of a non-selected pitch system. A leak detection arrangement of a pitch-controlled wind turbine; and a pitch-controlled wind turbine are also provided.

摘要: A portable, case-enclosed pressure test manifold, configured to support both pneumatic and hydrostatic pressure testing, and comprising a downstream fluid path (e.g., a system test gauge, a ball valve, a system test port, a system relief valve, and other components/piping) and an upstream fluid path (e.g., a low-pressure gauge, a high-pressure gauge, and various other components/piping). A regulator and/or the ball valve selectively operate the downstream fluid path, defining a hydrostatic pressure testing path, to receive a liquid; and the upstream fluid path in combination with the downstream fluid path, defining a pneumatic pressure testing path, to receive a gas. Manifold components are pressure rated based on use and are ASME Code B31.3 compliant. Properly rated flexible hoses connect with either of the pneumatic or the hydrostatic pressure testing paths of the manifold. The case includes parking receptables and a carrying handle configured to stow the hose during transport.

摘要: A blowby gas treatment device includes a pressure control valve, a fresh air induction pipe, a first blowby gas pipe, a second blowby gas pipe, a shutoff valve, a one-way valve, and a PCV valve. A leak diagnosis includes a first-stage diagnosis to determine whether or not falling of a pressure in a crank case after closing of the shutoff valve under a non-supercharging condition is normal. A second-stage diagnosis is implemented by using an air fuel ratio feedback control, and determining whether or not a sensed intake air quantity obtained by an air flow meter is equal to an actual intake air quantity flowing into a cylinder set. When the sensed intake air quantity is equal to the actual intake air quantity, presence of an in-system leak is determined, and when the actual intake air quantity is larger, presence of an out-of-system leak is determined.
