    摘要: Provided is a measuring apparatus using a beacon tag. More particularly, the measuring apparatus uses a beacon tag which is simple in configuration, easy to carry and use, and has low manufacturing cost, including: three reference beacon tags arranged in a specific space; a distance measuring unit including a distance measuring sensor measuring a distance to a target, a measurement direction detection unit detecting a measurement direction of the distance measuring sensor, and a measuring beacon tag provided in a low part of the distance measuring sensor; a position detection unit: calculating relative coordinates of the measuring beacon tag; and detecting relative coordinates of the target on the basis of the relative coordinates of the measuring beacon tag, the distance between the target and the distance measuring sensor, and the measurement direction of the distance measuring sensor.

    摘要: An articulated arm coordinate measurement machine is provided with a configurable arm bus. The arm bus being comprised of a plurality of busses that may be selectively coupled to form one or more logical data communications busses. The logical busses may be configured to allow accessory devices to be coupled to the arm and transmit data at higher speeds and at lower costs than may be possible using data busses having fixed communications protocols. In one embodiment, one or more communications switches may be arranged in the probe end of the arm to selectively combine the busses into a logical bus.

    摘要: A coupled state versus a decoupled state of a part relative to a machine, in particular of a coordinate measuring device or a machine tool, is determined. The part to be coupled can be moved toward a contact region of the machine in an axial direction in order to establish the coupled state, and can be moved away from the contact region in the axial direction in order to establish the decoupled state. A magnetoresistive sensor is used to generate a sensor signal that depends on an axial position of the part and a further sensor signal that depends on a rotational position of the part relative to the machine. The sensor signals are evaluated and the result is used to determine whether the part is coupled to the contact region of the machine and/or whether the part is decoupled from the contact region.
