The linear guide guides support hardware in linear movement along the longitudinal axis. An opening is though the base is for receiving a fastener when the mounting device is secured to the roof. The opening is in communication with the internal cavity. The linear guide extends beyond the internal cavity.

摘要: A method for operating a hybrid collector solar system includes a heat transfer agent, which is present in a buffer accumulator, that passes via a pump into a thermal solar collector of the hybrid collector in order to heat the heat transfer agent. The pump is connected into a feed line that connects the buffer accumulator to the thermal solar collector. The hybrid collector solar system is partially filled with the heat transfer agent so that part of the hybrid collector solar system is not filled and so that the heat transfer agent is moved back and forth between the thermal solar collector and the buffer accumulator via the feed line depending on its temperature, thereby realizing an oscillating method of operation.

摘要: A system for heating a work fluid and for air circulation comprises a plurality of collectors fitted top-to-top in one or more columns, such that air ducts of the modules constitute a single duct along a column, wherein the solar collector comprises: one solar radiation planar absorber with one anterior face exposed to solar radiation and another posterior face affixed to the work fluid piping; one duct for exchanging heat with the planar absorber via the air duct which has its air inlet and outlet on opposite tops of the solar collector. The system can additionally comprise a descendent air duct to collect air from the upper part of the building and to supply air to the lower side of one or more columns of the facade.

摘要: The present invention provides a thermal storage system that is easily integrated with a wide range of electric power systems. In particular, the principles of the present invention are easily implemented at a very large scale to integrate with larger scale grid systems. The thermal storage aspects of the present invention are cost effective to implement. Also, the manner in which the systems operate allow thinner, less expensive wiring to be used effectively. Because heavy wiring can be a significant part of startup expenses, the ability to use thinner gauge wiring provides significant cost savings. Further, the systems are quickly responsive to grid conditions and not only modulate energy storage but also modulate energy storage fast enough to respond to grid conditions in real time.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for thermally stabilizing molten nitrate salt in thermal power plants, in particular solar power plants, having the steps of: a) providing molten nitrate salt, said nitrate salt being selected from alkali metal nitrates, alkaline earth metal nitrates, and mixtures of one or more alkali metal nitrates and alkaline earth metal nitrates, and transporting the molten nitrate salt in lines provided for this purpose and b) introducing a heat quantity ΔQpat into the molten salt at a defined position, wherein the heat quantity is provided in particular by means of solar energy. The invention is characterized in that prior to or after step b), a stabilization gas is supplied to the molten nitrate salt, said stabilization gas having oxygen, at least one nitric gas, and optionally nitrogen. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.

摘要: The disclosed technology includes an on-demand water heater which uses an electric heat source to heat the water. The on-demand water heater can have a low fluid capacity heating chamber which has an inlet and an outlet, an electric heat source for heating the water, and a controller to control the electric heat source and maintain the temperature of the water at a predetermined temperature setting. The on-demand water heater can be powered by a direct current power source. The on-demand water heater can also utilize a solar thermal system to provide additional heat to the water.

The particle receiver is configured to receive solar energy and transfer the solar energy to a heat transfer fluid. The heat exchanger is configured to transfer heat from the heat transfer fluid to a working fluid. The electric generator is configured to generate electrical power as the working fluid expands through the electric generator. The reactor includes a first compartment, a second compartment, and a heat transfer barrier. The heat transfer barrier is configured to transfer heat from the heat transfer fluid in the first compartment to the reaction feed stream in the second compartment, thereby maintaining an operating temperature of the reaction feed stream to at least a specified reaction temperature and converting at least one reactant in the reactant feed stream into at least one specified product.
