摘要: Systems and methods for beneficiating a recovered fly ash material and/or recovering fly ash from an impound site are described. The method may include thermally treating a first portion of a recovered fly ash material to form a thermally treated fly ash having a first temperature of at least 1000° F., and contacting the thermally treated fly ash with a second portion of the recovered fly ash material to cool the thermally treated fly ash to a second temperature of less than or equal to 500° F. and form a fly ash product. The fly ash product may have a carbon content less than 8% by weight, based on the total dry weight of the fly ash product.

摘要: The invention relates to methods of disposing household waste, in particular, to methods of disposing waste with low content of water by plasma-chemical destruction. The invention is directed to attaining a technical effect of broadening range of technical solutions by providing a method of destruction of organic waste with low content of water. The technical effect is attained by a destruction method, where organic waste with low content of water is loaded into a reactor via an input opening, and waste of biological origin is loaded additionally. The reactor is provided in form of a closed cavity, which inner surface is made conductive entirely or partially and grounded. An electrode protrudes into the reactor, which is isolated from the grounded surface. High-voltage pulses are supplied to the electrode. The pulses cause formation of corona discharge streamers in a gap between the electrode and the conductive surface of the reactor.

摘要: An advanced single canister reactor system for the advanced thermal chemical conversion processing of municipal solid waste (“MSW”), either sorted or unsorted, and autoclaves specially designed to process the waste at suitable temperature and pressure combinations is disclosed. The canister having at least one support structure mounted therein with at least one compression relief structure pivotally attached to the support structure. The compression relief structure is pivotable between a first position that is parallel to the wall, and a second position that is orthogonal to the wall, so that the compression relief structure prevents compression of waste materials loaded into the canister.

摘要: A device for chemical destruction of at least one feed comprising at least one organic compound are provided. In one aspect, the device comprises at least one inductive plasma torch, means for introducing at least one plasma-forming gas into the torch, optionally when the plasma gas(es) comprise(s) no or little oxygen, means for bringing oxygen gas into the plasma or into the vicinity of the plasma, means for introducing the feed into the torch, a reaction enclosure capable of allowing thermal destruction of the gases flowing from the torch, a device allowing mixing of the gases flowing out of the reaction enclosure to be carried out, means for introducing air and/or oxygen gas into the mixing device, a device allowing recombination by cooling of at least one portion of the gases from the mixing device, the torch, the reaction enclosure, the mixing device and the recombination device being in fluidic communication.

摘要: An incinerator has a hollow main body with a front wall, a rear wall, a first side wall, a second side wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall. The front wall has a first opening and a second opening formed therein. The second opening is disposed adjacent to the bottom wall between the first opening and the bottom wall. The rear wall has at least one inlet aperture formed adjacent to the bottom wall. The first side wall and the second side wall each have at least one outlet aperture disposed adjacent to the top wall. The incinerator further has a door that is movable between an opened position, whereby waste may be disposed on a grate suspended inside of the main body, and a closed position, whereby the door may cover the first opening.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for cleaning a gas mixture comprising contaminants. The device comprises a cylinder and a burner nozzle for supplying a fuel to be burned, said burner nozzle being embodied for directing into the cylinder a flame, wherein the flame is directed in a flow direction of the gas mixture. The device is characterized in that the device comprises cone shaped gas conductor with a relatively wide entrance for the gas mixture to be cleaned and a relatively narrow exit, The tapered shape is positioned in the flow direction and the narrow part of which is positioned near or within the supply side of the cylinder, with the proviso that the device is embodied for supplying into the cylinder the gas mixture to be cleaned partly through the cone shaped gas conductor and partly around the cone shaped gas conductor. The burner nozzle is positioned at the narrow side of the cone.
