    Abstract: A hydraulic coupling arrangement includes a push-fit, quick-connect hydraulic coupling comprising a male connector and a female connector. The male and female connectors each define a longitudinal axis, with the male connector being insertable into the female connector in an axial direction parallel to the longitudinal axes of the connectors. An electromagnetic coil is located external to but associated with one connector. A support member carries the other connector and includes a magnetically attractive material for interaction with the coil. The arrangement is configured such that with male connector positioned for insertion into the female connector, activation of the coil draws the magnetically attractive material, the support member and the other connector in the axial direction to assist in inserting the male connector into the female connector.

    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for connecting a hydraulic fracturing fluid source to various wells at a given well site. In general, use of disclosed systems and methods provide for repositioning (refocusing) the hydraulic fracturing operation amongst multiple wells may be achieved. In one example, a system to reroute fracturing fluid from a source to various wells at a well site may be provided. The use of adapters and quick clamp connections allow hydraulic fracturing fluid to be rerouted between various wells in a manner to decrease the cost and reduce hazards associated with changing hydraulic fracturing locations. Modular components of the system (and an overall modular design of the system itself) may allow a centralized manifold to be relocated to various locations at one or more well sites.

    Abstract: An exhaust lining for an exhaust system of a motor vehicle has a first connecting element clamped between a first and second pipe. The first pipe forms a tailpipe. The second pipe forms a tailpipe cover. The tailpipe cover has a tubular inner part held on by means of the first connecting element which clings onto the first pipe via by means of a lever mechanism. A load arm of the lever mechanism, having the distance A, is shorter than an effort arm, having the distance B. The length of the effort arm is precisely defined, because the end of the effort arm lies against the first pipe via a punctiform contact area. A first contact surface of a clamping spring is designed offset from the longitudinal extent of a main body of the first connecting element to save space in the longitudinal direction of the main body.

    Abstract: A quick connect assembly includes a connector housing and fluid connectors that fluidly couple an ink assembly and a print assembly. The quick connect assembly also includes conductive connectors that conductively couple hardware circuitry in the ink assembly with hardware circuitry in the print assembly. First and second portions of the connector housing mate with each other to couple the fluid connectors and to couple the conductive connectors. The first and second housing portions mate with each other by rotating the first housing portion and/or the second housing portion relative to the other of the first housing portion and/or the second housing portion.

    Abstract: A quick-disconnect gas pipeline comprises a quick-disconnect device (QDD) which comprises a QDD male end and a QDD female end, and a gas hose. The QDD male end is connected to the gas pipeline inside the heating system and the QDD female end is connected to the gas hose outside the heating system. When the heating system is not used, it is easy to disconnect the QDD to prevent people from tripping over the long gas pipeline.

    Abstract: A gasket for preventing the separation of a pipe joint formed between plastic pipes such as pipes manufactured from PVC. The invention provides an internally restrained pipe joint including a bell with a substantially V-shaped annular groove. The annular groove includes a front radial wall and a rear radial wall and a gasket seated in the annular groove. The gasket includes an inner radial face, an opening defined by the inner radial face and an outer radial face with a front radial section located adjacent to the front radial wall of the annular groove and a rear radial section located adjacent to the rear radial wall of the annular groove. A plurality of toothed, rigid restraining segments is at least partially embedded in the gasket.
