摘要: A submersible fluid pump suitable for use in a landfill well includes an outer case extending along a vertical axis and at least partially defining an interior of the fluid pump, a fluid inlet and outlet, a discharge tube within the outer case and disposed between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, a float positioned around the discharge tube and within the outer case such that the float is within the discharge tube and the outer case, the float being movable along the discharge tube in an axial direction, a pneumatic valve configured to introduce pressurized air into the interior of the fluid pump, an actuator configured to open and close the pneumatic valve, and a plurality of magnets comprising a first magnet fixed with respect to the actuator and a second magnet fixed with respect to the float, the second magnet configured to magnetically repel the first magnet as the float moves to tip the actuator to either open or close the pneumatic valve.

摘要: A valve for removing gases during the startup of liquid handling facilities and/or the filling of liquid storage facilities includes a housing and internal parts which include a highly buoyant float, a pivotal linkage member, a valve guiding member, and a poppet valve. The poppet valve includes a passage there through that allows for degassing of the liquid handling facility or liquid storage facility. The valve also provides for degassing of such facilities when gases build up therein, and provides for vacuum relief when an internal vacuum is produced in such facilities due to removal of liquid.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and storage mediums are provided for detecting water shortage for a humidifier. The method includes: obtaining a water level parameter of a water tank; determining a water level state of the water tank according to the water level parameter. When the water level state of the water tank is a water shortage state, energizing a valve connected to a water box so that water can be added to the water tank through the valve. A number of times of energizing the valve is recorded. When the number of times of energizing the valve exceeds a first preset number of times as well as when the water level state of the water tank determined every time after energization of the valve is the water shortage state, confirming that the water box is short of water.

摘要: There is provided a liquid level control device (20) for location in a vessel to control the liquid level in the vessel. The liquid level control device (20) comprises: a first chamber (22) including: an opening (26) to allow movement of liquid between the first chamber (22) and the vessel; a vent (28) to allow egress of air from the first chamber (22); and an inlet (30) connectable to a liquid source (34); a first flow controller including a first float (36) arranged in the first chamber (22) such that the flow of liquid into the first chamber (22) raises the first float (36) and displaces air in the first chamber (22) via the vent (28), the first flow controller including a first closure member (40) movable to selectively close and open the inlet (30), the first float (36) further arranged in the first chamber (22) such that, in use, when the first float (36) is at a first position when the liquid level in the first chamber (22) is at or below a first predetermined level, the first float (36) positions the first closure member (40) to open the inlet (30) to allow liquid into the first chamber (22) via the inlet (30), and when the first float (36) is at a second position when the liquid level in the first chamber (22) is at or above a second predetermined level, the first float (36) positions the first closure member (40) to close the inlet (30) to block liquid from entering into the first chamber (22) via the inlet (30); and a second flow controller including a second float (42) and further including a second closure member (46) movable to selectively close and open the vent (28), the second float (42) arranged such that, in use, when the second float (42) is in a first position, the second float (42) positions the second closure member (46) to close the vent (28) to block air from flowing from the first chamber (22) via the vent (28) to escape to atmosphere, and when the second float (42) is in a second position, the second float (42) positions the second closure member (46) to open the vent (28) to allow air to flow from the first chamber (22) via the vent (28) to escape to atmosphere, wherein the first and second floats (42) are arranged such that, in use, when the first float (36) is in its second position and the second float (42) is in its first position, air is trapped in the first chamber (22) to maintain the liquid level in the first chamber (22) at a level so as to maintain the first float (36) in its second position, and wherein the second float (42) includes a hollow body with an internal chamber (48) for storing a substance (54), the hollow body configured so that the internal chamber (48) is accessible from the exterior of the hollow body to permit addition and removal of a substance (54) into and from the internal chamber (48), the second float (42) configured to have a variable weight modifiable through selective addition and removal of a substance (54) into and from the internal chamber (48).

摘要: An opening/closing device according to the present invention includes a gate, a fall prevention unit, a support release unit, a first float, a floating prevention unit, a second float, and a floating prevention release unit. The gate receives a flow of fluid, and is able to fall down toward a downstream direction of the flow. The fall prevention unit supports the gate, thereby preventing the gate from falling down. The support release unit releases the support for the gate by the fall prevention unit. The first float is arranged on an upstream side of the gate, is arranged on one of the left side and the right side of the gate viewed from upstream, and is less in the specific gravity than the fluid. The floating prevention unit prevents the first float from floating.

摘要: A tank refilling system is configured to keep liquid in a destination tank close to a predetermined destination tank fill line. The tank refilling system has a source tank connected to a destination tank with a flow through secondary process therebetween. Liquid flows between the tanks by gravity fed drainage. A single liquid supply channel to transfer pressurized supply liquid is comprised of a plurality of piping segments and one or more valves, all connected in series. A source tank mounted valve is configured to permit liquid to flow until the height of liquid level in the source tank reaches a predetermined level. A destination tank mounted valve is configured to permit liquid to flow until the height of liquid level in the destination tank reaches a predetermined level. The apparatus of the invention also prevents tank overflow for both the source tank and the destination tank.

摘要: A water shut-off device is disclosed. The water shut-off device has an inlet port and an outlet port. The water shut-off device includes: a housing fluidly connected to the inlet port and the outlet port, the housing having an opening at its upper end and including: a valve for switching the device between an open configuration and a closed configuration, the valve permitting flow of water through the device in the open configuration and prohibiting flow of water through the device in the closed configuration; a gear wheel secured to the housing and operatively coupled to the valve, the valve being actuated by rotations of the gear wheel; and an anchor in mechanical communication with the gear wheel, the anchor including: a container for receiving water flowing through the opening; and at least one pallet connected to the container, the at least one pallet being configured to catch against one or more teeth of the gear wheel, the anchor being rotatably mounted at a fixed pivot in the housing such that the anchor swings about the pivot as water collects in the container, the swinging of the anchor about the pivot causing the at least one pallet to alternately catch and release a tooth of the gear wheel, thereby causing the gear wheel to rotate in a first direction.

摘要: A buoyant float including a body having an interior defined in part by a side wall and a bottom extending inward from the side wall. The side wall has an upper edge defining an open top of the body. The float includes a cover sized and shaped for covering the top of the body. The cover attaches to the body to maintain the cover in position relative to the body to cover the open top. The cover has a tubular skirt extending downward and around the upper edge of the body side wall when the cover is in position covering the top of the body. An air pocket is created at an interface between the cover and the body when the float is positioned in liquid to isolate the interface from the liquid and prevent liquid from entering the hollow interior of the body through the interface.
