    Abstract: A pneumatic proportional valve includes a torque motor and a pneumatic rotary valve. The torque motor includes permanent magnets, magnetically permeable yokes, an upper armature, a lower armature, an upper skeleton, a skeleton column, a lower skeleton, an exciting coil, a coil skeleton, a spring support, a spring plate and load springs. The torque motor has a single coil structure with an axis of the exciting coil coinciding with a rotation axis of the armatures, and the coil is arranged between the upper armature and the lower armature. The torque motor has the upper armature and the lower armature, and the upper armature and the lower armature have a total of four armature arms, which can form eight air gaps with an upper one and a lower one working in pair, form four pairs of magnetic circuits in parallel with each other under the excitation of a control coil.

    Abstract: A bypass valve for a fuel control includes a sleeve, a spool, and a biasing member. The sleeve has a body extending between a first end and a second. The first end defines a first bypass valve port. The body defines a second bypass valve port, a third bypass valve port, and a shutoff port. The second end defines a fourth bypass valve port. The spool is received within the inner bore and is movable between a first position and a second position. The biasing member biases the spool toward the first position.

    Abstract: An injection molding apparatus including: a valve pin driven by an actuator, the valve pin extending axially through at least a portion of the channel length of the fluid flow channel, the fluid flow channel including a throat, downstream flow of the injection fluid being restricted by a bulb portion of the pin, the valve pin having an intermediate position where downstream flow of injection fluid is unrestricted and a fully downstream position where downstream flow of injection fluid is stopped at both the gate and at the throat, wherein the actuator is driven by a valve assembly comprised of a spool mechanically driven by first and second actuators or solenoids that each separately engage the spool at opposing axial ends to effect movement of the spool back and forth between the drive fluid flow positions.
