摘要: A torque transmitting shaft includes a first member and a second member. The first member extends along an axis and has an inner surface extending between a first end and a second end. The inner surface defines a plurality of first engagement elements disposed proximate the first end. The second member extends along the second axis and has a first end portion and an intermediate portion extending from the first end portion. An end of the intermediate portion is fixedly attached to the second end. The first end portion has a first spline portion and each member of the first spline portion is received within corresponding engagement elements of the plurality of first engagement elements.

摘要: Systems and methods for damping torsional oscillations of downhole systems are described. The systems include a downhole drilling system disposed at an end of the downhole system in operative connection with a drill bit. A damping system is installed on the downhole drilling system, the damping system having at least one damper element configured to dampen at least one HFTO mode. At least one mode-shape tuning element is arranged on the drilling system. The at least one mode-shape tuning element is configured and positioned on the drilling system to modify at least one of a shape of the HFTO mode, a frequency of the HFTO mode, an excitability of the HFTO mode, and a damping efficiency of the at least one damper element.

摘要: In an aspect, an isolation device is provided for a belt and a component shaft in an engine. The device includes a hub, a pulley, an isolation spring and a damping member that is fixed rotationally relative to the hub and is engageable frictionally with the pulley. Torque transmission through the spring below a selected non-zero torque, irrespective of hub load on the pulley, drives a change in radius of the helical coils of the spring that is sufficiently small that the spring avoids pressing the damping member against the pulley. Torque transmission through the spring above the selected non-zero torque, irrespective of hub load on the pulley, drives a change in radius of the helical coils that is sufficiently large that the isolation spring applies a radial force to press the damping member against the pulley so as to generate frictional damping.

摘要: A torsional vibration damper arrangement for a drive train of a motor vehicle includes a torsional vibration damper having an input flange, a first output flange, a second output flange, a hub, a first connecting element, and a second connecting element. The first output flange is rotatable relative to the input flange about an axis of rotation against a spring device. The first connecting element lies on a first radius relative to the axis of rotation and connects the first output flange, the second output flange, and the hub in rotationally fixed and form-fitting or force-fitting manner for torque transmission to a further component. The second connecting element is disposed at least partially radially inside the hub and connects the hub to the second output flange in a force-fitting or form-fitting manner.

摘要: A vibration damping device for use with a downhole tool having a tool axis and a drill string component (DSC), may comprise an inertia ring rotatably mounted on the DSC and including at least one cutout defining a chamber therein such that the DSC forms an end wall of the chamber, and a leaf spring disposed in the chamber, the leaf spring having first and second spring ends, the first end being attached to the inertia ring or the DSC such that relative rotation between the inertia ring and the DSC distorts the leaf spring. The second spring end may engage the other of the inertia ring or the DSC. A fluid may be included in the chamber and the spring may divide the chamber into two portions, so that relative rotation between the inertia ring and the DSC distorts the leaf spring and varies the volumes of the portions.

The intermediate element has a first transmission path for rolling the first rolling body, and a second transmission path for rolling the second rolling body. The input side has a first counter path complementary to the first transmission path. The output side has a second counter path complementary to the second transmission path. The first rolling body is guided between the first transmission path and the first counter path, and the second rolling body is guided between the second transmission path and the second counter path. The energy storage element is arranged with a vector component that acts circumferentially on the intermediate element in a circumferential direction.

摘要: A clutch disc includes an input part, an output part, and a vibration damper. The vibration damper includes a first part with a first flange area, a second part with a second flange area, a spring device, and first and second intermediate parts. The intermediate parts are coupled to the first flange area and the second flange area by respective slide devices such that movement of the intermediate parts relative one another is inhibited by the spring device. The flange areas are each in operative connection with the input part and the output part such that a load acting on the input part that changes from either rotational direction to an opposite rotational direction moves the first flange area relative to the second flange area in a single fixed direction of movement.
