摘要: A fluid compressor system having an electro-magnetic throttle valve (EMTV) that utilizes magnetic forces supplied by an electromagnet to actuate the opening and closing of the valve. The fluid compressor system may include a control system that controls the position of a valve plate of the EMTV, allowing the EMTV to fully or partially actuate to a plurality of intermediate positions depending on a current supplied to the electromagnet by the control system. The control system may control a location of the valve plate with reference to the electromagnet by balancing the forces acting on the valve plate, such as electromagnetic forces supplied by the electromagnet, biasing forces supplied by biasing components, and gravitational forces acting on the valve plate. The EMTV may include a blowdown system configured to release a pressure within the fluid compressor system when the inlet on the EMTV is closed.

摘要: A system includes a variable displacement pump (VDP) in fluid communication with an inlet line and with an outlet line. The VDP includes a variable displacement mechanism configured to vary pressure to the outlet line. A bypass valve (BPV) includes a BPV inlet in fluid communication with the outlet line, and a BPV outlet in fluid communication with a bypass line that feeds into the inlet line upstream of the VDP. An actuator is operatively connected to control the BPV to vary flow from the BPV inlet to the bypass line. A controller is operatively connected to the actuator to control recirculation flow passed through the BPV based on requested flow from a downstream system supplied by the outlet line and based on a predetermined low threshold of flow through the VDP.

摘要: A metering pump for dispensing a fuel additive includes a pump body, an inlet and an outlet at which fuel additive respectively enters and exits the metering pump, a piston contained within a piston bore and being configured to draw fuel additive into the metering pump through the inlet and to dispense fuel additive from the metering pump through the outlet, an inflow valve configured to permit fuel additive to flow in a single direction away from the inlet and to prevent fuel additive from flowing in an opposite direction back into the inlet, and an outflow valve configured to permit fuel additive to flow in the single direction towards the outlet, wherein the metering pump has a configuration in which the inlet, the outlet, the piston, the piston bore, the inflow valve, and the outflow valve are centrally positioned along a central plane of the pump body.

The outlet aperture is hollowed out from the gas outlet groove to the pressure relief surface and corresponding in position to the valve opening. The pressure relief hole is spaced apart from the gas outlet groove. The pressure relief trench is concavely formed from the pressure relief surface.

摘要: A hydraulic pump is described, comprising at least one inlet duct for a fluid, at least one outlet duct for the fluid and at least one pumping unit interposed between the inlet and outlet ducts. At least one multifunction valve is interposed between the inlet duct, upstream of the pumping unit, and the outlet duct, downstream of the pumping unit, which valve is configured to divert the flow of fluid from the inlet duct to the outlet duct without the fluid flowing into the pumping unit. The multifunction valve comprises a valve body that defines an inner bypass channel in which a shutter element is axially movable, an actuator member operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to move it from a closing position to an opening position of the bypass channel, and an elastic contrast element operatively associated with the shutter element and configured to keep it in the first closing position of the bypass channel when such shutter element is not actuated by the actuator member. The actuator member consists of a bias spring manufactured with a shape memory alloy, configured to move the shutter element from the first closing position to the second opening position of the bypass channel when a predefined temperature value is reached.
