摘要: Liquid Separator System The present invention relates to a liquid separator system for removing liquid particles from a blow-by gas stream in the internal combustion engine. The system has a liquid separating device and a remote warning/maintenance system generating a signal for an operator of the internal combustion engine. The liquid separator device has a base housing with at least one receptacle with a filter element and a pressure regulator is received within a removable cap portion. A liquid level sensor is mounted in the base housing in the receptacle. A pressure sensing system has a filter blocked valve to indicate a partially blocked filter element. When a filter is partially blocked the pressure sensing system generates a signal to the remote warning/maintenance system and when liquid in the base housing reaches a predetermined level the liquid level sensor generates a signal to the remote warning/maintenance system.

摘要: An oil level measurement system for an aircraft engine includes a magnetic float disposed in the aircraft engine, a first sensor ladder configured for sensing a position of the magnetic float, and a second sensor ladder configured for sensing a position of the magnetic float. A controller is configured to determine an oil level of an engine based on an engine status signal, a first signal from the first sensor ladder, and a second signal from the second sensor ladder. An oil level sensing method for measuring an oil level within an aircraft engine when the aircraft engine is off includes comparing a first signal from a first sensor ladder with a second signal from a second sensor ladder, indicating a fault when the first signal is different from the second signal, and determining an oil level of an aircraft engine when the first signal matches the second signal.

Also disclosed is an oil leakage monitoring system for a gas turbine engine, comprising: one or more sealing components to be lubricated by oil; a valve downstream of the one or more components and fluidly connected to an oil system; a reservoir downstream of the one or more components to collect oil, the reservoir upstream of the valve; and a volume measurement device configured to detect the oil collected in the reservoir, and to signal for inspection of the one or more components when the oil collected in the reservoir exceeds a threshold volume.

A method of operating an agricultural vehicle includes adjusting at least one hydraulic cylinder to move a header frame to a known orientation, sensing a position of an oil surface in a gearbox, and determining or indicating an amount of oil in the gearbox based at least in part on the position of the oil surface.

摘要: An apparatus and method of determining the level of a liquid in a reservoir having curved surfaces is described, where the measuring device comprises a support having a radius of curvature conformable to the curvature of the reservoir. A float assembly is captivated to the support so that it may move freely in the vertical direction, but is constrained in rotation with respect to the support by compatible asymmetrical structural features. The float assembly includes an element that can be sensed by a sensor assembly that is positioned along the support over the length of the support encompassing the range of fluid levels to be measured.
