摘要: A self-propelled construction machine for working the ground, in particular a stabilizer or recycler, has a controller for automatically reversing the direction of travel, which interacts with the drive device for the wheels or crawler tracks. The controller is configured such that the drive device, after receiving a travel direction reversal control signal, reduces the predefined first speed at which the construction machine travels in the first direction of travel until the construction machine is stationary, and, after the construction machine is stationary, drives the wheels or crawler tracks in the opposite direction, wherein the drive device increases the speed in the second direction of travel up to a predetermined second speed. Not only the drive device, but also other components of the construction machine, may be automatically controlled depending on different driving situations.

摘要: A system and method are provided for automatically implementing a commanded change in elevation of a ground profile being created by a work vehicle such as a dozer using a slope control system of the work vehicle. A controller calculates an adjusted target value of a mainfall slope and an adjustment distance sufficient to achieve the desired change in elevation and then controls the mainfall slope of the work vehicle to the adjusted target value as the work vehicle advances by the adjustment distance. Then the mainfall slope is automatically returned to its original value.

摘要: A support structure, including an excavation and a plurality of irregularly shaped foamed glass bodies at least partially filing the excavation. Each respective irregularly shaped foamed glass body has an aspect ratio of about 1:1.7 and a diameter of about 1 inch. The irregularly shaped foamed glass bodies intersect to define stacking angles of at least about 35 degrees. Under compression, the irregularly shaped foamed glass bodies crush and break up before slip failure occurs such that the roadbed has a crushing failure mode.

摘要: An autonomous earth moving system can determine a desired state for a portion of the EMV including at least one control surface. Then the EMV selects a set of control signals for moving the portion of the EMV from the current state to the desired state using a machine learning model trained to generate control signals for moving the portion of the EMV to the desired state based on the current state. After the EMV executes the selected set of control signals, the system measures an updated state of the portion of the EMV. In some cases, this updated state of the EMV is used to iteratively update the machine learning model using an online learning process.

摘要: A paving machine includes a mold coupled to a telescopic frame member, by which the mold side-shifts relative to a main frame. A tight clearance between the paving machine and a surface being paved may be achieved by the ability to side-shift the mold. The paving machine may also include a number of vibrator motors. A flow to the vibrator motors may be controllable by a manifold controller. The manifold controller is located on an end of the telescopic frame member. By locating the manifold controller on the telescopic frame member, an operator of the paving machine may both stand on the telescopic frame member to watch the paving mold and adjust the settings of the vibrator controller. This is advantageous in allowing the operator to achieve proper concrete consolidation by visual feedback without leaving the telescopic frame member.

detecting first ground profile data of a first ground profile of a foundation in a surrounding area of the road finishing machine at point in time t0, wherein the road finishing machine is located at position x0;
detecting second ground profile data of a second ground profile of the foundation in a surrounding area of the road finishing machine at point in time t1, wherein the road finishing machine is located at position x1, and the second ground profile partially overlaps the first ground profile;
determining a translational and rotational matrix which maps a movement of the road finishing machine in space from the point in time t0 to the point in time t1;
creating corrected ground profile data from the ground profile data by means of the matrix;
determining an analysis region LA comprising at least a section of the first ground profile data L0 and/or a section of the corrected ground profile data;
analyzing the analysis region;
adapting the leveling control for a distance of the analysis region by means of data obtained in the analysis.
