摘要: A display unit for a road machine includes a display and processing circuitry. The road machine includes a tractor, a hopper installed in front of the tractor to receive a paving material, a conveyor configured to feed the paving material in the hopper to the back side of the tractor, a screw configured to lay and spread the paving material fed by the conveyor behind the tractor, a screed configured to lay and level the paving material laid and spread by the screw behind the screw, and an information obtaining device configured to obtain information on road pavement. The processing circuitry of the display unit is configured to predict a future event based on the information on the road pavement obtained by the information obtaining device, and to display information on the event on a road map on the display.

摘要: A method includes receiving information indicative of a first worksite plan, determining a travel path extending along a work surface, causing a mobile machine to traverse the travel path, and receiving first sensor information associated with the work surface from a sensor of the mobile machine. The method also includes generating a second worksite plan based at least partly on the first sensor information, and providing instructions to a slave machine which, when executed by a controller of the slave machine, cause the controller of the slave machine to control the slave machine to perform at least part of the second worksite plan. The method further includes receiving second sensor information determined by the sensor of the mobile machine, and generating at least one of a safety metric and an accuracy metric based at least partly on the second sensor information.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for rolling weight deflection measurement comprising a rolling wheel to be moved along a measuring surface in a first direction. The apparatus comprises a number of spaced apart range sensors arranged on at least one carrier and configured to measure a distance to said measuring surface at pavement locations passed by the apparatus. A first of said range sensors is arranged at a predetermined location with respect to said rolling wheel, and the remainder of the range sensors are arranged in spaced apart manner in line with said first range sensor in the in first direction. At least one inclination sensor is configured to measure at least a change in inclination of said at least one carrier, a curvature parameter value for said measuring surface is calculated using measurements from said range sensors and said inclination sensor.

The electronic controller is programmed and configured to receive the ground surface information from the ground sensor, estimate a location of the ground surface relative to the frame of the machine, establish a height difference between the location of the ground surface and the frame of the machine, monitor the height difference continuously during operation of the machine, and provide a sunk condition indication when the height difference reduces below an acceptable threshold.
