The present application discloses a warp knitting traverse device and a warp knitting machine. The warp knitting traverse device includes a faceplate and a comb. The cross-section of the faceplate is an annular shape with different outer diameters, and the annular shape is divided into x number of equal parts, courses, along the circumferential direction and wherein 2≤x≤8; on the outer surface of the faceplate, at least two slopes are formed between adjacent courses. The present invention utilizes this new structural design, and designs a gradually gentle slope for buffering for the comb movement, allowing the comb to move step by step, which can avoid the instability caused by sudden large span, and is conducive to achieve high precision and smoothness in using a warp knitting machine in the process of fabric production. The new improvement preserve the machine for continuous production and achieve high throughput.

The method comprises the following steps: digitizing an individual to create a 3D object data cloud; automatically and/or manually recognizing object's exterior landmarks; extracting the object's exterior measurements; calculating the outer covering pattern block of the digitized surface of the object according to the extracted object's exterior measurements including geodesic measurements; transforming the outer covering block to 3D weft knitted outer covering pattern by introducing horizontal and/or vertical darts; and translating the modified knitted outer covering pattern to knitting diagrams and/or instructions, which can then be transferred to knitwear CAD system to control the automatic knitting machine to knit the required knitted outer covering.

The Raschel machine is provided with locking belts which are fixed relative to a plane perpendicular to the shogging motion. In addition, the yarn laying-in comb and at least one guide bar for the stitch yarns are movable not only in a plane perpendicular to the shogging direction but also in a plane parallel to the shogging direction. The motion of the laying-in comb allows large underlaps without risk of faulty lapping of the yarns.

A novel compensation lever is associated with the guide and dropper bars of a warp knitting machine equipped with conventional Jacquard controls. In conventional warp knitting machinery equipped with Jacquard controls, the droppers of the dropper bar often impart an undesirable force to the guide bars during the knitting operation. The novel compensation lever of this invention is so arranged that when the dropper bar is displaced in a predetermined direction, a certain proportion of the displacing impetus is transferred to the guide bar in order to bias the guide bar in the same direction as the force of the return spring attached thereto.

The guide bars of a warp knitting machine are automatically controlled in accordance with a desired pattern in synchronism with the rotation of a main shaft of the machine through control apparatus comprising a memory capable of storing information on a pattern of stitches to be formed, a control controlling rotation of the main shaft and giving instructions to the memory to produce a pattern signal for each course, a signal distributor receiving the pattern signals from the memory, and respective servo drive mechanisms for each guide bar and each including a servo motor. Responsive to the pattern signal from the signal distributor, each servo motor controls the length of linear movement of its associated guide bar. The signal distributor is a pulse distributor, and the pulses are effective to step the servo motors through predetermined angles of rotation with the rotation of each servo motor being converted into a corresponding linear displacement of an element for operating the associated guide bar.
