摘要： A jacquard equipped warp kniting machine is provided with means for maintaining a relatively constant tension on the dropper pin activator cords of the jacquard mechanism during the swing movement of the dropper bar. The means for providing a relatively constant tension includes a second eyelet bar which moves in a direction opposite to that of the dropper bar thereby equalizing the tension of the dropper pin activator cord.

摘要： A convertible piece of upholstered furniture can be converted via motorized conversion aids from a seat function into a bed, by way of any desired number of intermediate stages, and vice versa. All movable parts can be fully stressed by a person during conversion, even when a person is sitting or lying on the piece of furniture. These changes can take place even when the piece is being used by a person, whereby each movable part of the piece of upholstered furniture can be changed by means of a motor drive having a control. The footrest and the seat part are configured so that they can move out of a base frame with their metal fittings. A lever construction arranged on the metal fitting of the footrest and a motor drive adjusts the height and angle of the footrest and moves the piece of furniture to the various positions.

摘要： Improved two component polymerizable polyorganosiloxane compositions are described, particularly for use in making dental impressions, having improved tear strength and wettability. Improved tear strength results from inclusion of a quadri-functional polysiloxane having a vinyl content of 0.16 to 0.24 m-mole/g. Working time is maintained by including sufficient amounts of a retarder composition that delays onset of the vinyl polymerization. Wettability is improved by including a surfactant resulting in a surface contact angle with water at three minutes of less than 50.degree.. The surfactant chosen has an HLB of 8-11, such that the wetting contact angle is achieved within less than two minutes and remains wetting throughout the working time of the impression taking, substantially improving impression quality. A low viscosity impression material is provided and includes a base component and a catalyst component. Both components are siloxane-based materials.

摘要： There is provided a warp knitting machine having needles and warp thread guides. A weft thread magazine has forwarding chains for providing the weft thread. Weft thread insertors bring the weft thread to the outtake side of the needles. At the upper dead point of the needles the weft threads are located in an inlay space between the outtake side of the needles and the innermost warp thread extending from the thread guides. Several of the innermost thread guides are provided with a rearwardly directed protrusion which, during the forwardly directed through-swing of the thread guides substantially closes off the inlay space at the upper dead point of the needles. This system reduces substantially the number of weft thread errors.
