摘要: The invention relates to the dissolution of amorphous dithiazine (a-DTZ) or polythioformaldehyde or other polymeric by-products of the treatment of hydrocarbon products (a-DZT) to remove them from surfaces. These are solids that build up on surfaces of processing plant and are resistant to most chemical treatment. The treatment requires treating the surface with an effective amount of a mercaptan or an amine. Surfactants to keep the dissolved a-DTZ or other components from redepositing elsewhere are also described, as is the use of hydrogen sulfide to add in removal by mercaptans.

摘要: A process for separating one or more one-ring cycloparaffins and one or more multi-ring cycloparaffins from a hydrocarbon mixture is disclosed. The process comprises the steps of providing the hydrocarbon mixture; and contacting the hydrocarbon mixture with an adsorbent material comprising a metal organic framework to separate the one or more one-ring cycloparaffins and the one or more multi-ring cycloparaffins from the hydrocarbon mixture. The process is conducted in a liquid phase.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for producing refined hydrocarbons from waste plastics. The method and system for producing refined hydrocarbons from waste plastics according to the embodiments of the present disclosure may minimize formation of an ammonium chloride salt (NH4Cl) and may prevent an adhesion phenomenon of impurity particles in a reactor in a refining process of waste plastic pyrolysis oil containing impurities including chlorine and nitrogen. In addition, the method and system for producing refined hydrocarbons according to the present disclosure may have excellent refining efficiency and may implement a long-term operation of a process because deactivation of a catalyst used in the process is prevented, and may produce, from waste plastics, refined hydrocarbons including aromatic hydrocarbons that have a low content of impurities and a low content of olefins and may implement high-value-addition.

摘要: Methods are provided to prepare a low sulfur fuel from hydrocarbon sources, such as light tight oil and high sulfur fuel oil, often less desired by conventional refiners, who split crude into a wide range of differing products and may prefer presence of wide ranges (C3 or C5 to C20 or higher) of hydrocarbons. These fuels can be produced by separating feeds into untreated and treated streams, and then recombining them. Such fuels can also be formulated by combinations of light, middle and heavy range constituents in a selected manner as claimed. Not only low in sulfur, the fuels of this invention are also low in nitrogen and essentially metals free. Fuel use applications include on-board large marine transport vessels but also on-shore for large land based combustion gas turbines, boilers, fired heaters and transport vehicles and trains.

摘要: A process for improving yield of kerosene from a renewable feedstock involves directing a hydroprocessed liquid stream to a lead stripper to separate a lead stripper bottoms stream and a lead stripper overhead stream comprising naphtha, lower and higher boiling point range hydrocarbons and water. Bulk water is removed from the lead stripper overhead stream resulting in an unstabilized hydrocarbon stream, which is passed to a stabilization column to separate a stabilized naphtha-containing stream from the lower boiling point range hydrocarbons. The stabilized naphtha-containing stream is passed to a rectification column to separate a rectification bottoms stream and a naphtha product stream. Kerosene and diesel boiling range product streams are separated from the lead stripper bottoms stream in a vacuum fractionator.
