摘要: An apparatus that forms bundles of glass articles includes a glass article infeed station including an infeed conveyor that continuously transports individual glass articles to a layer separating conveyor. The layer separating conveyor includes a conveyor belt that forms a layer of side-by-side glass articles. A robotic lift assembly is configured to place the layer of side-by-side glass articles together on a layer separation insert. The layer separation insert has side-by-side slots that each receive a single glass article of the layer of side-by-side glass articles.

摘要: A pick-up head for groups of tissue products including a support which can be connected to a robotic arm. The support has a first sliding guide in which a first pair of compacting means runs, between an open configuration and a compacting configuration. The pick-up head also includes a plurality of unidirectional chains, wherein the unidirectional chains are positioned outside each compacting means of the first pair and slide between an engaging position and a disengaging position. The pick-up head also includes a plurality of guides associated with respective unidirectional chains, in such a way that the unidirectional chains protrude beyond an end edge of a horizontal stretch of the guide in such a way as to create a cantilever support designed to support the bottom of the group of tissue products during its movement.

摘要: A method of making a laminated shingle is provided. The method includes coating a shingle mat with roofing asphalt to make an asphalt-coated sheet, adhering a reinforcement member to a portion of the asphalt-coated sheet, covering the asphalt-coated sheet, and optionally covering the reinforcement member, with granules to make a granule-covered sheet, dividing the granule-covered sheet into an overlay sheet and an underlay sheet, wherein the overlay sheet has a tab portion normally exposed on a roof and a headlap portion normally covered-up on a roof, the headlap portion having a lower zone adjacent the tab portion and an upper zone adjacent the lower zone, and wherein the reinforcement member is adhered to the lower zone of the headlap portion and laminating the overlay sheet and the underlay sheet to make the laminated shingle.

Additionally, one or more embodiments facilitate the tanning control system in customizing the sorting and packaging of hides based, at least in part, on one or more hide characteristics and/or customer specifications.
