Abstract: A multi-part tray for transporting a load in an order-picking system includes four side walls, a lower part and an upper part movable relative to the lower part from a transport configuration into a transferring configuration. The lower part provides two first side walls and the upper part provides two second side walls. Furthermore, with an unloading device and a method for unloading the tray, the upper part is moved relative to the lower part in order to move the tray from the transport configuration into the transferring configuration. Further, a computer-implemented method controls a position changing device in order to bring a load into a loading pose for loading a tray. In addition, a loading device carries out the method. Finally, an order-picking system has trays, an unloading device and/or a loading device.

Abstract: A device for sorting trunks, in particular logs, comprises a conveyor device, which has carriers, and ejectors, which are arranged along the conveyor device, for a controlled discharge from the conveyor device into log magazines according to signals from a superordinate controller. A common rotary drive is connected with each set of at least two ejector pairs, which are drivingly connected together by means of an axle. The rotary drive is a torque motor, the rotor of which is rigidly connected directly to the axle and the stator of which is rotationally fixed relative to the conveyor device.

Abstract: A cross-belt sorter with a plurality of interconnected carriers drivable behind each other in a conveying direction. Each carrier is provided with a cross-belt for supporting a product. The cross-belt is drivable in a belt driving direction extending transversely to the conveying direction. A pushing element is mounted to the cross-belt for pushing against a product on the cross-belt in the event that a product on the cross-belt tends to move with respect to the cross-belt in opposite direction of the belt driving direction. The pushing element has an upright orientation with respect to the cross-belt and is supported in the belt driving direction by a supporting member which is at least between opposite side edges of the cross-belt fixed to the pushing element and to the cross-belt at respective distances from an intersection between the pushing element and the cross-belt.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for packaging articles (2). Outer packages (3) are moved by a first conveying device (10) and then by a second conveying device (20), which second conveying device (20) is located next to the first conveying device (10). Abstract: New systems, methods and devices for the management of reusable food containers, such as dishes and/or trays, are provided. Systems and devices for managing a large inventory of dishes or trays to be re-used, are provided. A re-usable tray management and processor device is provided. The re-usable tray management and processor device includes a control system, a first, tray-receiving end, a tray conveyor, at least one scanning device(s), a denester/dispenser, a separator and an offloading end, configured to offload soiled reusable food containers to a washing, drying and packing section. Rotary release actuator(s) are included within the denester/dispenser. And a new form of rotary actuator and brush and excavator tool is provided, coupled with each of the rotary release actuators. In some embodiments, the control system plans actions downstream of a pre-cleaning station, based on data received from the scanning device(s).
