摘要: A container for storing perishable contents comprising an inner storage chamber defining top and bottom ends and comprising a floor at the bottom end thereof and an inner wall extending from the floor towards an opening at the top end thereof. The floor and the inner wall defining a storage cavity therebetween. An outer wall covers the inner wall and downwardly extends from a junction therewith at or near the top end of the storage chamber towards a bottom edge thereof at or near the bottom end of the storage chamber. The outer wall and the inner wall are spaced apart to define an air channel therebetween for receiving air. The bottom edge of the outer wall and the floor of the storage chamber define an opening therebetween leading to the air channel. The air channel provides for allowing a layer of air between the outer wall and inner wall to act as insulation for the perishable contents.

摘要: A compact bendable cargo securement device for stabilizing unrestrained items in the bed or cargo area of a pick-up truck or storage area in a motorhome or recreational trailer is disclosed. It may also be used as a stabilizer doing woodwork and other jobs that require stability of the work platform. The device will conform to any surface and has the ability to wrap around objects—both regular and irregular shaped—and will hold them and keep them from shifting. As disclosed, the bendable cargo securement device is composed of a flexible tube loaded with filler material when used and deployed for securing objects. The flexible tube is preferably fabricated from rubber or any material allowing sufficient flexibility for the cargo securement device to wrap around items while having suitable strength to avoid puncture/destruction from deployment. Each end of the device requires a closure to contain the filler material.

摘要: The present invention provides a multi-layered coextruded thermoplastic food casing comprising: at least one thermoplastic porous absorbing layer; and at least one layer having a barrier effect for water vapor and/or oxygen, wherein the at least one layer having a barrier effect for water vapor and/or oxygen has an average layer thickness in a range of from 5 to 60 μm over the entire surface area, wherein the at least one thermoplastic porous absorbing layer comprises as a main component at least one thermoplastic polymer material selected from the group consisting of (co)polyamides and (co)polyolefins, wherein the at least one thermoplastic porous absorbing layer comprises areas having a reduced average layer thickness and areas having a non-reduced average layer thickness, wherein the average layer thickness of the at least one thermoplastic porous absorbing layer in areas having a non-reduced average layer thickness is in a range of from 10 to 200 μm, wherein the average layer thickness in areas having a reduced average layer thickness is lower by 7 to 140 μm and is reduced by a range of from 30 to 85% compared to the areas having a non-reduced average layer thickness of the at least one thermoplastic porous absorbing layer, and wherein both areas having a reduced average layer thickness and a non-reduced average layer thickness comprise pores which are able to absorb a functional additive.

摘要: A drinking straw wrapper comprises an upper portion and a lower portion detachably engaged with the upper portion. The upper and lower portions are collectively configured to enclose a drinking straw. Detachment of the upper portion from the lower portion creates an opening in the upper portion and an opening in the lower portion, with the opening in the upper portion being substantially wider than the opening in the lower portion so as to facilitate replacement of the upper portion on a top of the straw after its initial removal therefrom. The upper portion may be formed from a first material and the lower portion formed from a second material different than the first material. Alternatively, the upper portion may be formed from a material having a first thickness and the lower portion formed from a same material but having a second thickness that is less than the first thickness.

摘要: A self-wrapping nonwoven sleeve for routing and protecting elongate members and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a non-woven wall having a thickness extending between inner and outer sides. The wall has opposite edges extending along a length of the sleeve between opposite ends. The opposite edges are biased into a self-wrapped configuration by heat-set material of the nonwoven wall to define a tubular cavity. The non-woven wall includes first and second portions extending between the opposite edges. The first portion and second portion have respective first and second thicknesses extending between the inner and outer sides, wherein the first thickness is greater than the second thickness and wherein the first portion provides flexibility to the wall and the second portion is heat set to bias the wall into its self-wrapped configuration.

摘要: Processor tray for displaying tubular meat products in an arcuate configuration, and designed to help guide the packer to mold and place curved meat products in the tray. The filled tray is wrapped in film, and the configuration of the filled tray maintains the film taut to avoid leakage. The tray includes a rectangular upper shaped cavity, and a plurality of curved recessed pockets extend below the upper cavity to define a lower cavity. The tray is designed to provide structural rigidity that resists warping and breakage, thus enabling the overwrapped tray to be handled, shipped, and displayed with minimal leakage or breakage. In some embodiments the tray includes features that facilitate de-nesting of a stack of empty trays, and is adapted to facilitate movement of the wrapped package on a moving conveyor line. The tray is easy to manufacture and provides a lightweight and cost effective packaging product. Preferably the tray has a rectangular shape that provides for consistent wrapping strength and can be handled on standard processing equipment.
