    摘要: A multipurpose vehicle includes a cargo bed including a floor panel 22 and a rear gate 24 supported to be swingable between a closed state, in which the rear gate 24 is at a vertical position with respect to the floor panel 22, and an open state, in which the rear gate 24 has swung rearward of the floor panel 22; and a holding mechanism configured to be manually operable to enter a holding state, in which the holding mechanism holds the rear gate 24 at a first angle that is a predetermined swing angle, and a holding canceled state. The cargo bed further includes a restriction mechanism 40 configured to, while the holding mechanism is in the holding canceled state, keep the rear gate 24 from swinging toward the open state by more than a second angle that is a swing angle larger than the first angle.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a multifunctional tailgate door and cargo load system that includes a multidirectional bumper apparatus with adaptable tow hitch receiver. The multifunctional tailgate door is adjacent to a cargo bed area having a rail system attached to the multifunctional tailgate door. The rail system having a linear actuator includes a rotary actuator hinge that enables the multifunctional tailgate door to function in a first direction and in a second direction. The multidirectional bumper apparatus is operable in a first direction and in a second direction, and may work in conjunction with the multifunctional tailgate door. The multifunctional tailgate door has at least one anchor that works in conjunction with the cargo load system. The cargo load system includes a plurality of ports in a rear cargo floor surface having a plurality of winches and at least one motor for securing a cargo load.

The tailgates and other pivoting-structures described herein can include one or more integrated workbench structures that are adjustable into different configurations, e.g., at least a first configuration and a second configuration. This allows the workbench structures to support different functions, e.g., holding, supporting, cutting, drilling, sanding, assembling, and/or disassembling objects, among other things. The integrated workbench structures can include support arms, bracing elements, vises, rulers, fasteners, or other adjustable structures that can be operated, modified, or used in different circumstances. The tailgates and other pivoting-structures described herein can also include elements that provide support in an open position, e.g., in some instances, without the use of cables, arms, or struts.

    摘要: Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative panel systems, structures, and vehicles. In an illustrative embodiment, a panel system includes a panel configured to rotatably connect to a structure and a panel cable assembly. The panel cable assembly includes a first cable having a first end and a second end, a first connector couplable to the first end of the first cable and the panel or the structure. The panel cable assembly also includes a second connector couplable to the second end of the first cable and the panel or the structure. The second connector is configured to have a predefined number of orientations. The second connector includes an outer portion coupled to the first cable and an inner portion received within the outer portion in one of the predefined number of orientations. Each of the predefined number of orientations results a different distance value between the panel and the structure responsive to full extension of the cable.
