    Abstract: A method and system for adjusting the height of a vehicle's air suspension through a software application or physical buttons or dials is provided. The system includes a ride height sensor that is configured to detect and measure the height of a vehicle. Further, the system includes an electronic module in communication with the ride height sensor and a ride height control module of the vehicle, wherein the ride height sensor or the electronic module being adapted to alter voltage/current or encoder data sent to the ride height control module. Further, the system includes means for electronically programming the ride height sensor or the electronic module, wherein the programming is performed using physical buttons or dials on the sensor or by connecting the electronic module to a user's electronic device via Bluetooth or other wireless or wired technology.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a chassis component (1, 38) having a measuring device (9) for determining a relative position of two chassis components connected movably with one another. For example, a first chassis component is a joint (2) with at least one rotation axis (8) and a second chassis component is a structural component (3), the structural component (3) being mounted by means of the joint (2) so that it can pivot around the rotation axis (8) of the joint (2). The measuring device (9) has a signal emitter (13) and a sensor device (10, 28) with a signal receiver (21), where the sensor device (10, 28) is arranged on the structural component (3) and the signal emitter (13) is arranged on the joint (2).     Abstract: A control system configured to control a damping force of an actuator of an active suspension system of a vehicle in response to an external disturbance of a wheel with which the actuator is associated, includes one or more controllers and configured to: receive a sensed displacement parameter indicative of suspension displacement associated with the wheel; determine whether a condition is satisfied, wherein satisfaction of the condition requires the sensed displacement parameter to indicate a transition from a suspension displacing phase associated with the external disturbance to a suspension restoring phase associated with the external disturbance, and wherein satisfaction of the condition depends on an amount of suspension displacement indicated by the sensed displacement parameter; and output a signal to control the damping force to be greater, during the suspension restoring phase associated with the external disturbance, than if the condition is not satisfied, in dependence on satisfaction of the condition.

    Abstract: In a method for controlling an active chassis of a vehicle, an obstacle is identified on a travel route located in front of a wheel of a front axle. A spring-shock absorber force of the spring-shock absorber system of the corresponding wheel is adjusted depending on the geometry of the obstacle such that the vehicle body experiences the lowest possible vertical acceleration when driving over the obstacle. Data from the front axle driving over the obstacle is then evaluated and adjustments are made for balancing the rear axle as it drives over the obstacle. When the rear axle drives over the obstacle, adjustments are made to at least one wheel of the rear axle, taking into account the adjustments due to the front axle driving over the obstacle, such that the vehicle body does not experience any vertical acceleration when the rear axle drives over the obstacle.
