摘要: An apparatus for correcting a defect in an object using three-dimensional (3D) printing. The apparatus includes a flexible wrapper-shaped printing module including an array of port openings adapted to allow a 3D printable material to move therethrough. The flexible wrapper-shaped printing module is configured to wrap around an object to allow the 3D printable material to move through a first set of selected port openings of the array of port openings and be injected into the defect in order to correct the defect.

摘要: A mixing device for mixing a puncture repair liquid and compressed air includes a mixing chamber, a first inlet for supplying the compressed air to the mixing chamber, a second inlet for supplying the puncture repair liquid to the mixing chamber, and an outlet for discharging a mixture of the puncture repair liquid and the compressed air from the mixing chamber. The mixing chamber includes a deposition section for depositing agglomerates contained in the puncture repair liquid. The deposition section is provided between the second inlet and the outlet.

摘要: A method for repairing window laminates in which two plies have become separated to create a void, and wherein moisture may have entered through an edge of the window laminate and into the void. The method includes the steps of: placing the window laminate in a vacuum bag and inserting the vacuum bag containing the window laminate into an oven or autoclave for a minimum of ten minutes at a minimum temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit to remove the moisture between the plies; removing the vacuum bag and window laminate from the oven, and removing the window from the vacuum bag; forcing a needle on a syringe through the edge of the window laminate in the area of the void; and injecting an adhesive in the syringe into the void to fill the void with the adhesive.

摘要: The present invention provides a repair resin composition for repairing breaks in a vehicle windscreen and curing units for curing the repair resin after it has been inserted into the break. The present invention also provides a method of repairing a vehicle windscreen, comprising inserting a resin into a repair zone, wherein the resin comprises a photoinitiator that activates when exposed to light of an activation wavelength, wherein the activation wavelength is between 370 nm and 425 nm, and curing the resin by emitting light including light within the activation wavelength range onto the repair zone.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a repair apparatus, system, and method for a composite sandwich structure. The repair is suited for reinforcing a sandwich panel having a first sheet and a second sheet opposite the first sheet. A core is interposed between and coupled to the first sheet and the second sheet. The repair uses a potting compound packed into an abnormality of the core and located on the outer surface of the first sheet. A patch is coupled to the outer surface of the first sheet over the abnormality of the core and cured. The cured potting compound is interposed between and bonded to the patch and the abnormality of the core and bonded to the patch and the outer surface of the first sheet to form a structural reinforcement.

The method also comprises sealing the repair patch and repair area with a vacuum bag having a seal ring around a periphery of the vacuum bag. The method also comprises evacuating, via an adhesive injection apparatus attached to the repair-patch hole and the seal ring of the vacuum bag, the repair area and an injection channel of the adhesive injection apparatus. The method also comprises forcing adhesive through the evacuated injection channel and into the evacuated repair area.
