Abstract: The application relates to a device for producing three-dimensional workpieces, the device including: a structural surface designed to receive a molding compound; and an irradiation arrangement designed to selectively irradiate the molding compound on the structural surface with electromagnetic radiation, in order to produce a workpiece by means of generative layer construction, where the irradiation device comprises a plurality of irradiation units, the irradiation units being designed to irradiate an individual region of the structural surface respectively associated with the irradiation units, and where the beams emitted by the irradiation units respectively have a cross-sectional surface corresponding to between approx. 2% and approx. 170% of the surface of the respectively associated individual region. The application also relates to the use of such a device and to a method for producing three-dimensional workpieces by means of such a device.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides various aspects for mobile and automated processing utilizing additive manufacturing. The present disclosure includes methods processing vision system data. Vision system image data may be processed by artificial intelligence algorithms. The artificial intelligence algorithms may perform GAN based synthesis of image edits to plan deposits of sized features upon detected defects of a surface. An artificial intelligence chip may perform rapid image processing on the fly as a mobile additive manufacturing apparatus functions.

Abstract: A powder composition suitable for use in selective laser sintering for printing an object. The powder composition includes a first fraction having a polyetherketoneketone (PEKK) powder having a plurality of particles. The powder composition includes a second fraction having a plurality of siloxane particles that is dry blended with the PEKK powder prior to selective laser sintering of the powder. In some embodiments, the powder composition includes a third fraction of carbon fiber. The powder composition when used in selective laser sintering results in parts with more consistent results and improves process economics.

Abstract: In a process for the lithography-based generative production of three-dimensional shaped bodies, wherein material that is solidifiable by exposure to electromagnetic radiation is present on a material support that is permeable in at least a region thereof, a building platform is positioned at a distance from the material support, material located between the building platform and the material support is heated and in the heated state is location-selectively irradiated by a first radiation source and solidified, wherein the electromagnetic radiation is introduced into the material from below through the material support that is at least partially permeable to radiation from the first radiation source, the heating of the material is performed by irradiating the material support with electromagnetic radiation of a second radiation source, wherein the material support is substantially impermeable for the radiation of the second radiation source.
