摘要: A laundry appliance including an appliance housing, a tub positioned inside the appliance housing, a drum rotatably supported within the tub, and a drying system that recirculates drying air through a molecular sieve. The molecular sieve has a porous membrane that is arranged along a drying air recirculation path. The laundry appliance also includes an ejector with an inlet, a venturi nozzle, an outlet, and a suction port that is arranged in fluid communication with the molecular sieve. The suction port of the ejector is configured to pull water vapor in the drying air recirculation path through the porous membrane of the molecular sieve when a motive fluid is passed through the ejector from the inlet, through the venturi nozzle, to the outlet such that the drying air exiting the molecular sieve is less humid than the drying air entering the molecular sieve.

摘要: An electrochemical heat transfer device for a hot water tank utilizes an electrochemical hydrogen compressor to pump hydrogen into and out of a tank having a metal hydride forming alloy therein. The absorption of hydrogen by the metal hydride forming alloy is exothermic, produces heat, and the desorption of the hydrogen from the metal hydride forming alloy is endothermic and draws heat in. An electrochemical hydrogen compressor may be configured between to tanks and pump hydrogen back and forth to form a heat transfer device, such as a hot water heater. A heat transfer device may be coupled with the tank or may comprise the outer surface of the tank to transfer heat to an object or to the surroundings. A closed loop may be configured having two tanks and one or two electrochemical hydrogen compressors to pump the hydrogen in a loop around the system.

A second removal chamber (16) is situated along a flow path of the gaseous stream between the first removal chamber and the second outlet, the second removal chamber being for removal of a further contaminant from the gaseous stream. The gas block is primarily for use in the purification of a hydrogen stream from an electrolyser.

摘要: A device for reducing a carbon dioxide and water content in an enclosed air volume has first and second sorption units for sorbing carbon dioxide and water. The first and second sorption units can be transferred from a sorption mode into a desorption mode and vice versa. In the sorption mode, the first and second sorption units sorb carbon dioxide and water from raw air of the enclosed air volume. In the desorption mode, the first and second desorption units desorb carbon dioxide and water to supplied regeneration air. An air distribution device can switch the first and second sorption units, based on the carbon dioxide and water content, alternately from sorption mode into desorption mode such that, in at least one operating state of the device, one of the first and second sorption units is in sorption mode while the other is in desorption mode.
