Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for augmented reality beauty product tutorials are disclosed. Methods disclose displaying on a first portion of a screen a beauty product tutorial including pre-recorded images of a presenter applying a beauty product to a body part of the presenter and determining first effects indicating changes to make to live images of a user to simulate applying the beauty product to the body part of the user, where the first effects are determined based on second effects indicating changes to the pre-recorded images from applying the beauty product to the body part of the presenter. Methods further disclose processing the live images of the user to add the first effects and indications of motion of the beauty product and displaying the processed live images of the user on a second portion of the screen.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method of accurately reproducing a color of a mixed product is provided. A color management computing system receives one or more inputs indicative of a target color. The color management computing system transmits a command to a product mixing device to dispense color component products to be mixed to create a mixed product of a first color. The color management computing system obtains an image that includes the mixed product. The color management computing system updates a display color correction profile based on a comparison of a captured color of the mixed product in the image to the target color. The color management computing system presents one or more instances on a display device of an adjusted target color indicative of the updated display color correction profile, in response to receiving a subsequent request to change the target color.

Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for autonomous, semi-autonomous, and assisted manual application of a cosmetic style to a portion of skin of an individual. A printer device includes a printer applicator, a position sensor, and a reservoir for compositions for the cosmetic style. A display of the printer device represents the portion of skin as a plurality of guide segments, and represents the printer applicator as a visual indicator relative to the plurality of guide segments based on the position sensor. The depiction of the visual indicator responds to changes in the position of the printer applicator relative to the portion of the skin to visually guide the individual to accurately apply the cosmetic style, and a feedback device alerts the individual if the application deviates from the portion of the skin. These approaches enable the individual to correct application of the composition in real time.

Abstract: A device for applying a composition to a skin of a face includes an end effector having a base portion and a protruding portion extending distally from the base portion. The protruding portion has a distal opening. The device also includes a detector arrangement obtaining image data corresponding to an image of an area of the skin through the distal opening and an applicator arrangement applying the composition to a location within the area. The device further includes a processing arrangement receiving and analyzing the image data to determine whether the applicator is aimed to safely dispense the composition to the area and whether a frexel within the area corresponds to a skin artifact, and directing the applicator to selectively apply the composition to the frexel when the applicator is aimed to safely dispense the composition to the area and the skin artifact is detected from the frexel.
