Abstract: A device electrically coupled with manufacturing equipment and in digital communications with an equipment logic controller, data acquisition system, or both. The device comprises a processor that executes an instruction set. Execution of the instruction set causes the processor to condition signals captured by a sensor, generate a message that comprises a discrete signals and signal identifier, determine an address and service port a process control broker, and send the message to the process control broker. The service port is configured for use as a peer-to-peer connection. The device comprises a PoE device electrically coupled with an ethernet port, the processor, and a PNP-NPN switch. The device is electrically coupled with the PNP-NPN switch. The processor is communicably coupled with the ethernet port. The process control broker processes the message and performs one or more commands, including providing the discrete signal and signal identifier to an equipment process controller.

Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for performing ancillary activity. A device activity being performed by a user device of a user is detected. Attribute data associated with a plurality of attribute sources is accessed. A user preference indicating a preference for performing on a secondary user device a complementary activity corresponding to the device activity is inferred. Based on the inferred user preference, the secondary user device is identified according to a device status of the secondary user device, the device status indicating a device capability to perform the complementary activity. The complementary activity to be performed on the secondary user device is generated by analyzing at least one of the device activity, a device functionality of the secondary user device, and the user preference. Instructions to perform the complementary activity are transmitted to the secondary user device.

Abstract: A system for enterprise collaboration is associated with an overlay network, such as a content delivery network (CDN). The overlay network comprises machines capable of ingress, forwarding and broadcasting traffic, together with a mapping infrastructure. The system comprises a front-end application, a back-end application, and set of one or more APIs through which the front-end application interacts with the back-end application. The front-end application is a web or mobile application component that provides one or more collaboration functions. The back-end application comprises a signaling component that maintains state information about each participant in a collaboration, a connectivity component that manages connections routed through the overlay network, and a multiplexing component that manages a multi-peer collaboration session to enable an end user peer to access other peers' media streams through the overlay network rather than directly from another peer. Peers preferably communicate with the platform using WebRTC. A collaboration manager component enables users to configure, manage and control their collaboration sessions.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and method for data mesh-based environmental augmentation are presented. Attribute data associated with a user may be received from a plurality of attribute sources. A portion of the attribute data may include real-time data. A portion of the real-time data indicative of an identity of the user may be identified. The identity of the user may be authenticated with respect to the real-time data by analyzing the identified portion of the real-time data. Based on the authentication of the identity of the user, a user activity being performed by the user may be identified based on the real-time data, and the user activity may be augmented according to a user setting.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for performing peer-to-peer software distribution in a Unified Endpoint Management environment. In an example, an unenrolled user device can request enrollment from an enrollment server. The enrollment server can send a list of resources to the unenrolled user device that the unenrolled user device needs based on a group that the unenrolled user device is assigned to. The unenrolled user device can send an identifier of the group to a notification server, and the notification server can respond with an ordered list of enrolled user devices that the unenrolled user device can retrieve the resources from. The unenrolled user device can request the resources from the enrolled user devices on the list until the unenrolled user device receives all the resources from the resource list. The unenrolled user device can then install the resources to complete enrollment.
